What a great wardrobe, I love the colouring very much. Just a quick question, it may be a silly one, after you wear the jeans or any clothing out, do you put back them on their shelf or you hang them? The reason I’m asking, I get myself confused if it has been washed or not, as I may wear something once and then I forget, this leads me to hang things more then my shelf becomes unbalanced , any tip? Thanks 🙏

Gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful. I love your closet. My only issue with CC is their “sales tactics”…. My closet started out with a $23K installed cost…by the time “discounts” were applied it came down to $13,800…..yeah…that’s ridiculous. While I would have gone with them I chose not to and had a local cabinet maker design and install my closet for $11,600. I’ve got drawers, crown molding, spaces for my handbags, concealed laundry enclosure…it’s gorgeous…AND, rather than put the false “facings” on the shelves to make them appear thicker (yes, that’s a thing with CC) I got the thicker solid wood shelves. I was put off by their “used car dealer” sales tactics…not their products. Plus, I went local and got a craftsman

The Scottsdale store is shooting me sky high and pressuring me to close the deal quickly, which became a huge red flag.

@@williamdavidson4576 yep…they are high pressure…and if they”come down” 50% it’s telling you they were ready to skewer you. Love the product…loathe the business model.

Looks fabulous Jennifer and having your bags on display is great. Here in the UK - closets are not standard except in very, very big houses. It’s just not something that house builders include when building houses, even newer houses. Lovely to see what the company did for you to accommodate the interesting shape of the room. When we moved into our new house, our designer recommended a local, family-owned closet company. They charged a fraction of what California Closets wanted, and did two closets completely, including demo of the old closets, in one day. Their work and quality was first-rate, and I love my closets. We were very fortunate! Enjoy your beautiful closet!

Your closet is amazing! We built a custom closet space last year, built a loft and got units from Ikea. Not as big as yours, but I can display my bags & SLGs now and look at them, which makes me happy. Next time I think I want the bags behind glass doors so no dusting required. I love my closet so much, I’ve actually fallen asleep on the floor ( it’s carpeted) because it feels like a sanctuary in there lol.

Your closets are beautiful! I’ve been getting quotes on a small project to add shelving w/ doors to a very small nook & am floored at the cost. It’s 39 in wide & quotes have been from $6-9k for a small cabinet!

I agree. We were astounded, as well. We got the original quote, said "no way" and waited. About 6 months later my rep contacted me about a 25% off sale, so we revisited the idea. After looking into other options and finding that the less expensive choices weren't that much less and definitely looked "cheaper", we bit the bullet and just did the CC project. We love the finished results and know it will be good for resale down the road. But, yes...it's ridiculously expensive.

Both of your closets look so beautiful and well done! Love your choice of wood and shade. You’ve always got amazing taste. Do you mind sharing which specific type of wood and shade do you use? I also notice that you did not do the adjustable option and go with the fixed system. I would love to hear your thoughts behind it. We chose Misty Orchard (wood grain) and Morning light (solid). I can't remember the name of the hardware color, but it is a dark, rubbed bronze/almost charcoal shade. I decided on the fixed shelves option simply because I do not care for the look of the adjustment holes. That required me to really decide what was going where, and do a lot of measuring for all the spaces. I think it is perfect for me, and will work well for anyone in the future, also. But, do what you think will be the best for your style of life. If you tend to want to adjust things often, get the adjustable!
