Oh Nicolas! I am so thrilled that you were able to repurchase the same watch!!! I watched your original video when this happened, but did not realize that the watch had actually been removed from your wrist! That is heartbreaking. Ryan is so understanding! I am sure he was as upset as you were. Thank you for sharing the happy conclusion to the event. Enjoy these special watches and remember the incredible 5 years and not the terrible robbery. 💙💙💙

That was luck with the insurance! Glad you got a replacement so quickly. The Maison in Paris is amazing. I visited it recently for the first time as it plays such an important part in the history of Cartier.

I am to glad that you had the insurance coverage. Some men tried to rob me once in Paris, just near the Eiffel Tower. I was rescued by two lovely plain clothes policemen. I was so grateful and they helped me before anything was actually taken. I only had a fright, not a loss! I was shocked because I live in a fairly safe city. Crime definitely happens here, but I have not experienced it! Thank you for the video!

Wonderful watch! Im considering buying the same model (I think thats why your video appeared in my timeline 😅). How do you feel aabout the scratches on the gold bezel? Are they that bad like some watch reviewers mention? Enjoy your watch in good health 🎉

Thank you for watching it! Regarding the scratches on the gold bezel, I feel at peace about it. I never mind my things (jewelry, bags etc.) not looking pristine as they are going to age with use no matter how careful you are. Also, Cartier has an after care department and can help removing all superficial scratches.

Thoughts on the tone two versus all gold medium? If price was no issue, would you still go two tone?

Great question. The all gold medium was honestly not in my price range but even if it was, I still would have chosen the two tones. I just love it on this watch, as it does provide a more vintage look (in my opinion).

I honestly felt like the Santos was matching my lifestyle, and style in general, more than the Tank. I found it more versatile too.

That’s why I never wear a luxury watch while going out. It’s a free ticket to getting yourself in trouble. Be smart, wear a smartwatch/gshock or just a beater while going out. Nobody cares about them, very robust aswell.
