My cat Brittney also lived until 20 years old with kidney disease. She lived with it for 7 years. My vet prescribed an aggressive medical protocol. Brit was on Welactin fish oil, pro and pre biotics, famoditine, sub q fluids and the miracle drug called calcitriol (I got it compounded). Her kidney values were stable and in fact they decreased. I feed/fed my cats exclusively canned food with a small amount of dry as a treat only. I am glad your Jeni lived a long life because it is worrying but this offers hope that cats can live a long life.

Happy birthday 🎉❤❤❤ Mine was 1 when he was diagnosed. He's 6 now😄😄😄 We are SO careful with his diet! AminAvast twice a day has also really helped. Everything that goes in his mouth is kidney-safe. He just had a checkup and nothing has progressed. They can have longer lives now, and I couldn't be happier about it ❤

Love you Hannah, I’m so sorry for the loss of the Beautiful Eloise. I know she took a massive chunk of your heart with her when she passed away. I wish o was there to give you and Andrew a massive hug. When your baby crosses the Rainbow Bridge it’s hard to let them make that trip. Just know that she’s the guardian cat angel for the rest of your babies and will be watching over them. Lord knows Coco needs it with her tussle with a snake not that long ago. Good Morning Cat Lady! My soul cat just passed from Feline Injection Site Sarcoma and part of my healing is seeing your cats and kittens having the best start, best home. I want to thank you for helping me heal from losing my best friend Squeak. I’m glad your cat has survived from this cancer and thank you for helping to educate pet owners on the type of cancer for Feline Injection Site Sarcoma.
