My Ceiling is now 7 Meters high! DIY Renovating my Abandoned Japanese House

Before / After, How Big of a difference?! One of the most enjoyable aspects of this renovation was the creation of the Fukinuke, or open ceiling. I've always been a fan of bathing in sunlight, and considering the house had very few windows, I was determined to find a way to infuse it with more beautiful natural light! How do you like the end result? ☀️

Why wouldn't you take the dirt walls out and substitute with fiberglass insulation before adding the plywood covering?
