Oh my goodness! You have been reading my mind! I have been on a HUGE wig journey this year, trying to branch out from my previously small comfort zone, and trying different colors, lengths, and styles. And during this journey, I have just recently begun experimenting with different clothing and makeup options to see how they impact how well I can pull off both colors that are in my comfort zone and colors that are on the fringe of my comfort zone…. For instance, I typically do best with warm hair colors, but can i pull off both neutral or even slightly cool colors that I love if I adjust my clothing and makeup? And then… BINGO…. You begin showing hair colors with different color blouses… so very helpful for me! Thank you! And oddly…. The colors that look best on me are BT Mocha Maple Brown, RW Cinnabar, TA 32/31 and 17/23/R8…. All very warm colors…. But Milkshake Blonde R… a more neutral blonde, is the best blonde on me… better than the warmer blondes. Don’t necessarily understand why, but I’m grateful because it is such a beautiful color!

Hi Marilyn; as I said in the video I will always review wigs, however I never want to only do one thing, I like to experiment and try different new and fun things all the time. My series "You Asked For It" is geared toward what viewers want and ask to see and I have gotten hundreds of requests to show fashion so that is where those videos will be located. Love this new format BUT would like a longer closeup shot for the wig color. Could you possibly pick up the various colors? I was never able to pick out what you called the ashy blonde. I saw the light brown but the rest of the color looked pretty much platinum.

Hi, Eileen. I love the tones of this blonde, however I do not like the root. The darkest root I ever want as a dark blonde who does not dye my hair is the one on Roca Margarita, but I don't see any that light on any other Belle Tress color. Even the one that BT calls a #18 on Crushed Almond Blonde R is too dark for me. I'm still frustrated over the rooting issue. It's a huge problem and I am not ready to go full-on gray yet since my own hair is only about 20% gray. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them! Rooting is such an issue with wigs, I wish the manufacturers would understand that not everyone wants a dark root or any rooting and would make wigs with a variety of root colors, from very light to a bit darker so there would more options. I know some people recommend trying lighten the roots with root spray and some have success doing that, but I don't want to pay the price for a wig and then have to try and alter to color. Hey Cynthia. I have given up and am going with unrooted grey. But my bio hair is 100% silver. Any rooting is too stark. I like the Ellen Willa light grey, pretty dimensional. White at the front, but darker around the back.

Ash looks awful on me! I have gold skin undertones (not tones but undertones) and I need warmer hair color. I wish I looked better in ash, but nope. It washes me out and I look a little sickly or tired. I love it but not on me. I can get away with neutral but leaning warm. I really enjoyed this video because I’m big on color interaction. A color can look very different up against another color. Change your top and your wig color changes! (At least a little). I really like this kind of video.
