NOTE: Some things have changed since the clip above (from a previous live) was shot. My second channel is now called Rain Country Live as that is where I will do all my lives every Sunday and Wednesday along with some shorts and the occasional older remastered video.. I will continue to keep doing regular content here 5 days a week. If this channel does end up getting taken down, at that point important videos from here over the past several years will be moved to the second channel. For now I just want them to remain a little distinct from each other.

A note to book people , I take notes from videos copy the notes out neatly and put them in a binder by subject also I print out the herb lists and they go in a Herbs for binder. Edit to say if the internet goes down I've got the binders , an info prep maybe.

I agree with you. I watch videos and take notes. I have made my own book. Of course, it needs to be organized better. Many of my notes are from your free videos! I cannot imagine the work/time that writing a book for publication takes. Now i understand how books can be so expensive to buy!!

I can appreciate putting a lot of time and detail into a craft and people who undervalue or discount what your time is worth. I loved to tat because it was something small enough to put in my purse and pull out to work on when I was waiting for the kids to finish sports practice or riding the train to work. If yoh know about tatting, you know that it is time consuming. I once donated some Victorian ornaments to the craft table at our Church Christmas bazaar. The ornaments were tatted about 3 and a half inches round, then starched into shape and then decorated with tiny silk flowers and tiny ribbon. I had donated about 30 of these ornaments and all of them sold. The girl, captaining the table, had priced them at 50 cents a piece!!!! I asked why, and she said she had them for a dollar and they didn't sell so she reduced the price. I vowed then never to do that again. People want homemade things but dont want to spend the money for the labor that goes into it.

I think about the Proverbs woman, and Heidi I know none of us are perfect, but I believe you are a good example. I love the way you teach, and if I feel it's important, I type it up and put it into a folder, I don't need a book. Family is the most important thing, and as women we are responsible for our families. Qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman Faithful: She is devoted to God and trusts in him Hardworking: She works diligently and fills her time with productive activities Generous: She is kind and gives freely to the poor and needy Wise: She is prudent and gives good advice to others Courageous: She is fearless and lives life with intention Trustworthy: She is reliable and can be trusted to manage her household Family-oriented: She looks after her family and ensures they do their duty to God Thank you for all you do! 💕💕❤❤

Those folks that are nagging you about writing a book, need to go to the dollar store pick up a notebook and take notes like I have done. I've said it before, you tube needs to spend more time censoring channels with sexual content, nudity and click bait trash. I cannot believe some of the stuff that's come back up after I reported it.

Hi Heidi, I ALSO WISH THAT YOU WOULD WRITE A BOOK, HOWEVER I UNDERSTAND YOUR REASONS. THE TIME IS COMING WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA MAY GO AWAY. I WONDER IF YOU COULD MAKE VIDEO SETS ONE DVD OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. IF WE LOSE THE ABILITY TO GET SOCIAL MEDIA, WE COULD WATCH AN ACTUAL TAPE OR DVD. I'M TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGED. JUST CURIOUS. GOD BLESS ❤
@RainCountryHomestead3 күн бұрын
Yes, I have been asked about that quite a bit as well and it is another thing that would be a much bigger job than most realize. Maybe if all my channels go down or become Inaccessible, I might consider it but that is hard to say at this point

@RainCountryHomestead It would be a lot and a cost risk. I completely agree with you wanting every second with your grand babies. Congratulations on another blessing coming. We have 2 grandsons age 22 and 15 in March. Our children grow up so fast and unfortunately the grandchildren goes twice as fast. Our 2 were miracle babies, as they all are. God bless you guy's and your precious babies

I’m not an advocate of college, even though I’m highly educated. I have learned much more useful info on my own. Life is the best teacher. So is God, when we seek His wisdom. 📖 🙏🏼 I just wanted to add though that my degree says Magna Cum Laude bc i maintained and finished with a 3.9 GPA…so if there isn’t an honorary title on the paper then the student wasn’t an honor student…. I don’t believe it mentions anything under a 3.5, but it may vary from university or college. I’m not sure.

@@RainCountryHomestead Your Channel(s) threaten the establishment. Those, who want to control every aspect of our lives, do not want us to learn to be self sufficient. Keep on keeping on. Know that there will come a day when the censorship is complete and all we will be able to see is the 1984 approved content. Until then, chin up and keep on doing what you are doing. You help so many people.
