These land came under Israel when they won defending themselves. In the 90s, the Israelis believed in the exchange of land for peace. In 2000 Israel withdrew from Southern Lebanon, and immediately a group called Hezbollah took over. In 2005, Israel withdrew from Gaza, and 2 years later, Hamas got elected in. And today Israel is suffering the result of those decisions that they made in hope for peace.

People have a "belief organ". We need simplified maps to get us through life. Some maps are more true and realistic than others. Some are more, others less corrupted (corosion hits all earthly things). The belief systems that have no higher metaphysical power are worse because there is no forgiveness like in communism). My favorite is becoming Judaism. It does not convince others to join the belief because the Holy can not come thro coercion. Check out lectures by Manis Friedman eg about Adam and Eve. Or listen to Jordan Peterson's bible lectures. There are kabbalah classes - Jewish "mysticism". Gd's spark is in us, the rest is our work. I fear free wheeling belief systems that are not carefully tied in multi generational wisdom and introspection into our imperfections.

Faith, from the Greek word pi’stis, primarily conveys the thought of confidence, trust, firm persuasion. Scripturally it is “the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.” - Heb 11:1. Ultimately, us as human beings, we thirst for knowledge and truth since child (as Saad mentioned himself) and until we are given an explanation that makes sense (to the individual, it doesn’t need to make sense to everyone as long as the individual is ok with it) “just shut up and do it” doesn’t cut it. Everyone’s faith is different and even if you don’t believe in Jehovah as the one True God of the Bible there will be another explanation that may make sense to you, like Scientology and if that’s what you choose to believe, that’s fine too as long as at the end of the day you can stand proud and defend your beliefs without a second doubt.

Many people simply let go and are living lives amongst each other it regardless of any immutable characteristic. We are all born who we are. We have no choice where we show up. And then we carry on the best way possible. Sometimes navigating away. Far. These youth have been brainwashed into activism. They're taught to be activists as part of civil duty. March for what? Whatever. Well..here is a list. Make your signs. Here's some cash. Our youth have been conditioned throughout years of anti bully campaign the focus of education. Never speaking about academics. Academics are lowest levels in areas. Our children are void of facts. They're being activated and fed. Why are our children now being told they can get surgery if they're puberty feels icky. Our youth have been hijacked.

❤Great interview. I read Son of Hamas and have paid attention to this particular hotspot/terrorist “breeding ground” in the middle east since I was a little girl. My grandfather was sent to Palestine for the very first UN “Peacekeeping mission”. He did not agree with what their mission was because he said it was not fair to the Jews-especially after the Holocaust and all the persecution they had already experienced from WWI, WWII-the targeted hate and systematic attempts to totally eradication them. He also told me about getting ambushed by a bunch of arabs when he was on that mission. He was in jeep with 2 other people. A bullet lopped off his friend’s finger in the passenger seat, the bullies missed him as he had bent down to pick something up from the floor, and the driver got hit with a bullet that hit him right in the ear/side of the head. He died instantly-his body went limp and he slumped over the steering wheel. I wrote about it on my X account and also wrote about it in one of the chapters of my “life history” book/autobiography. Nothing is embellished or made up, btw. It’s all true. I still have many more things I will be adding as time, and my life, goes on.
