That's funny, I went from being under 13 listening to Mogwai and whatever I heard from my parents, old school rock stuff and went to black metal in my early teens which quickly evolved into emo, punk, Ska, prog, ect basically to everything that was good. And now the Playlists go from snarky puppy to infant ahnillator and from Elliot Smith to RX Bandits 😅😅

I was literally just talking to my mate about this an hour ago. The 2010s were the last decade of good "pop" music. Yes real music still exists today like Coheed, Ren and Bayside but everything that is popular like cardy manaj is just absolute garbage... It would be nice if music created by musicians and bands were what was being promoted in the mainstream but now it's just a bunch of performers who buy good beats and "rap" (tbh it feels disrespectful to call what they do rap), incoherent bullshit over it... Especially when it's 2 sentences repeated over and over. I'll say it again, that's not music!!! If you buy a beat and utter incoherent childish nonsense over it with digital effects to make it catchy you ARE NOT A MUSICIAN, YOU ARE A PERFORMER. And that's fine that's cool. No discredit to performers and entertainers but I sorry cardy manaj you are not a musician and it's insulting to even chsrchtsrize you with the likes of Andy McKee, Josh Eppard, Tim Henson, Willi Charslile, Casey Crecenzo and Tom Waits... It's just different. 😂 Sorry I'm rambling it's just sad what is popular today for the most part.
