I had those sand art thingies too, and I had an Aladdin bedspread, and a toooon of Barbies. My stepdad actually painted a massive Aladdin mural on an entire wall in my room, so that was one of my favs as a kid. As a teen, one the mural was gone, I painted a black accent wall on a small area and wrote lines from my poetry with a paint marker that matched the sage green color painted on the rest of the wall.

Ooh the glow-in-the-dark stars.. I think we put some on my bedroom's ceiling when I was 9... They're still there, that was 20 years ago As per my favourite room decoration... I had to share my room with my older brother for a long time, so I didn't really have personal items until waay later. And it was mostly posters... Before my 20s my favourite decor were a Primal (the video game with the tatooed girl with a magic metapmorphosis bracers?) poster, a couple Ewilan ones (books), couple Guild Wars ones, and a xXxHolic calendar that I keep stuck in March 2010

Had a twilight: Eclipse bed spread, a radio, old chest of drawers (which I barely used because the floor was closer), a bookshelf that ran out of book space, drawings and comic related things on the wall. As I got older the drawings were replaced with posters of metal bands and the comic related things became actual comic posters

I'm also a 90s kid but was raised with 3 other siblings, so we did not have as much as you. But I can still relate with listening to our little boombox for days on end with nsync, and spice girls. I shared a room with my older sister. We had a nintendo that we played all night without out parents knowing. Rugrats, clarissa, doug, all that, and the am and a show were some of our favorite TV showes. Love thus video and your hat!!!!

Love the Chuckie hat, and I remember making a sand art seashell at the San Diego Zoo when I was 6 or 7. Lol. I guess now that I really think about it, Cartoon Network wasn't much of a thing until the very late '90s? I was a tail end baby, so in '99 I was 4 and dancing around to the Millennium album (Lord knows why my parents bought this, I had no older siblings through which I could witness the act of fangirling). Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network ended up being my tv channels of choice... not much Disney Channel/Toon Disney, but Disney movies I can always get behind 😂

I didn't get to have my own Nintendo. So I would sneak into my brothers room and play his Nintendo. And then he got Sega, and I played the heck out of that. I also would steal his comic books and baseball cards and memorize them all and read them. I also would go into my brothers room for music. He had no doubt, Metallica, rage against the machine, weezer and so on. My room was full of the green power ranger, Steven Tyler, Andrew Keegan, and rozz Williams. I got my hands on a lot of 80s music like Cyndi Lauper, Cocteau twins, minimal compact, the chameleons, the cure, sisters of mercy and so on. I also had a tamagotchi and Polly pockets. Haha

I never had my own room growing up. I shared a room with my older sister, then she got her own room and I shared a room with my little brother till I left for the military.
