Wow, wonderful story! Thank you for sharing. I've seen your many cycling videos. But this one is where you shared more deeply. Well done, Nini! I wish you the very best as you thrive and prosper in Singapore.
Yr parents made lots of sacrifices so to give you the opportunities you need. You did not disappoint them & made it through pure diligence & seemed to have mastered the important art of how, where & what to do to forge ahead in life. Congratulations! I am sure your family in CN ( & in Sgp) must be very very proud of you. Keep up the good work & I am sure bigger opportunitues await you.

Most interesting 16 year adventure. Thanks for sharing. Those born here had an easy life
Actually you need not explain, most viewers know that you were not specifically talking about discrimination which is only a small element of your experiences in a new place. I agree with viewers who praise your positive and fighting spirit. All the best to your continuing journey.

Would be good if you could talk a bit about your parents now. I am sure they are quietly proud of their daughter and son-in-law.

Thumb up and keep your positive vibes. been following your UT channel during covid19 to help us to explore another perspective of life. Cya more in the community work at TJCC.
Great thing about singapore is as long as you stay clear of illegal activities, you are free to choose the life-style you want. Every country has discrimination, i think in sg it is less as there is no open policy on discrimination nor ppl beating u cuz of different skin colour.

@ Susanna young It is not luck. She was very hardworking and persistent. She worked her way up. I had a few colleagues from PRC.They were arrogant, saying they are from a BIG country and Singapore is just a county- 小县城。They said Malay should not be the National language, Chinese should be the National language. They said Singapore should join PRC.Also they said China can conquer Singapore in 3 days if Singapore refuse to join PRC when requested. They were very lazy

Some of them no matter how hard working also cannot make it. Good Luck to you! Bye. Thanks.🙏

@@suzannayong9484 That means everybody don't have to work hard, don't try hard, don't be industrious. Just depends on luck. What a defeatist mentality. Ya believe in your Allah. Singapore was built up by hardworking citizens. u should renounce ur national tyres if u r a Singaporean.Asalamu Alaikum.
Impressive, you should be proud of yourself. Your parents should be very proud of you. It doesn't matter where we are, the world is one big family for us.
