I think you could wire the locomotive motor to the rechargeable rc battery. Run a separate lead with the proper resister value to the motor. Then modify the tender to house the rc battery. You will probably get better battery life and won’t have the expense of replacing 6 C cells all the time.

I have a Rudolph Reindeer Express , I think it just needs liquid smoke but I’m nervous about which one to use. It’s a similar setup to this train’s appearance

when the whistle blows, its actually sucking air in, and blowing it up that tube, thats how it worked in the OG smoker

You could have actually used a water smoking it they don't run on very much voltage and they work a lot better
