Just an FYI to anyone considering the always pan -- jeremy scheck reviewed it and said that the spoon it comes with didn't hold up very well. I don't think it's a concern for most people but if you're gifting it to someone who doesn't have cooking utensils it would be something to consider.

I’ve been loving vlogmas so far! My family basically runs on Amazon wishlists, we can just send links and see what’s on everyone’s lists. Mine is full of cookbooks, but one I really recommend is Milk Street: The New Home Cooking. It has a great variety of recipes from around the world, specifically for home cooks. There aren’t too many niche ingredients or advanced cooking skills, but I’ve still made amazing meals and desserts from it, 10/10 would recommend!
