In February this year I unknowingly joined the SCJ group. They never told me they were the SCJ group and since I had never heard of SCJ, I thought they were a Bible study group who were helping the youth to know more about Christ. Just some days ago I got a message from an old member who also attended their meeting. She told me what they really were and the reason she stopped. I did my research and I also quit that moment. Thanks to God I wasn't that involved like other students were and that really frustrated them. Guys becareful and do your research before joining any kind of Bible study group.

(Sharing in case helpful to anyone.) I was in a small group (3 person) Bible study for about 6 months, without knowing it was SCJ. I joined because I was getting worried about a close friend who kept speaking about how amazing it was for over year. It was not a Bible study as much as a small teaching time. My questions would always be answered. The Bible study leader always gave me assurance that more teaching would be given in time, but that we needed to go slowly. Like a constant cliff hanger. I asked many times what organization the material came from, since it seemed so organized, but the answer was always that it was just a group of Christians, and not an organization. Eventually, the Bible study leader mentioned the "Word of Life" group, but I couldn't find anything online at that point. Honestly, some of the teachings were really beautiful, but there were always subtle points that left me suspicious. Asking questions was kind of pointless though, since I wouldn't get any answers, as if we needed to get to more meat gradually. I was warming up little by little, partly because my close friend was there, partly because the Bible Study leader was really kind. Eventually I was invited to a "class" over Zoom. When I attended, my RED FLAGS went up immediately. The class was extremely organized, with a teacher and many discussion facilitators, as well as tech people for camera and streaming. This didn't seem like just a small group of casual Christians. I still couldn't get a name of an organization when asking. I felt like I'd be tricked since it wasn't as small and casual as I was led to believe. I only wanted to stay because I was even more worried about my close friend. Everyone in the class seemed to be so enthusiastically gobbling up the teaching content, and I felt super out-of-place and uncomfortable asking any questions about parts of the teaching that didn't' seem to agree with the Bible. The teaching seemed to be about 90 percent agreeable with what I knew, but there were little points throughout that would get inserted, and then passed over without discussion, as if they were just inherently true. They used a lot of Old Testament passages that were very ambiguous, so ambiguous that they could be interpreted to mean many many different things. One passage they used was one that I had previously heard opposing interpretations for. They had their own unique take on it too. You could use these Old Testament passages to say a lot of different things. Between the lines, I felt like they were trying to prepare me to receive some sort of special teaching, and even more subtly, from a person who had a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. (They did not define what that fresh filling was, but it sounded exclusive, and like we would be dependent on this kind of teacher's filling.) They also claimed that while anyone could gain an understanding of the Gospel and Jesus just by reading the Bible, that something more was needed. This was another red flag, because it came off as no one could receive the Holy Spirit, or as if God Himself did not need to be involved in calling a person to himself. It really seemed like outside of their teaching, or their subtly hinted at "teacher", that anyone who did not embrace their teaching was someone who was missing the most important thing. That person was someone only content with only remaining on spiritual milk, and not moving on to solid food. (This felt like arm twisting with a face of sincerity on it.) After a few classes, I decided I couldn't keep attending, even though my friend was still in there. I confronted him that even though I had come to enjoy our small group Bible Study, that the class made me feel like I had been tricked, and like they were tricking people with all of the subtle mis-teachings. No one in there was attending through their church, and was without the protection of fellow church bros and sisters watching over them. We spoke very little after that. It was as if I had rejected something of spiritual significance, like I couldn't find God outside of their teaching. Our friendship diminished a lot after that. A whole year passed, and I heard a different friend of mine from S. Korea casually mention the SCJ. I had never heard of them, so I started asking them questions. They described the same initial teachings I had been exposed to, and told me that in S. Korea it was a very well known cult. Even the government had started recovery programs for members who left the SCJ. My close friend who had been trying to "recruit" me, has since left SCJ, but they still have family in it. Exiting SCJ really left them jarred, and also confused about their identity. They are not ready to explore anything God-related at the moment, and I can't blame them.

Thank you Pastor Fletcher for sharing! Please is there a way to translate this video into Spanish. Because they call pastors from Spanish speaking countries and other countries to ask if they would like to attend a free Bible school and deceptively introduce SCJ teachings. From what I remember from the class, after the pastors from Spanish speaking countries learn, they stop teaching/preaching to the church members and ask them to sign up for SCJ class. Basically Infiltrating the church. As told in the class I attended, one of the reasons the pastors from others countries easily join is because they have the desire to go to a Bible school but it is expensive, so since SCJ is offering a free Bible school they join. They were telling us this basically to let us know they are teaching the Bible without collecting any fee but other Bible colleges/churches are collecting money therefore they are false and SCJ is true. I don’t remember exactly if they introduce themselves as SCJ but basically they are infiltrating churches in Spanish speaking countries and other countries. I don’t know but if you can translate this whole video in Spanish and publish it separately, this video could reach out to those pastors. Thank you for all the work you do Jordan!!!

This is the same as what happened to Buddhism in India. It no longer exists in India but outside. Islam and Hinduism are the main religions. Likewise, the original Christian Church is heavily competing against Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses. These religious organizations are growing in Asia, South America, and Africa but not as well in India, the Mideast, and Russia. Oddly, most of the casino lands in Las Vegas are controlled by the Mormon Church and the Howard Hughes Foundation. The Catholics, Lutherans, and Anglican Orders have their own teachings and formalized recruitment services due to their connections to European Royalty, Government organizations, Fraternal orders, and Masonic Orders. Most of the Churches in Canada and the US are mostly Episcopalian, Pentacospalian, Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, and Anabaptists. The Mormons, Later Day Saints, and Jehovahs are churches that mostly grew in the Southwest, Southeast after the US Civil War much as the Baptist’s. Comparing Shincheonji is similar to latter North American Christian movements. Any religion goes through changing teachings much as Islam and the conflict with Judaism of the Jews. Protestants and Catholic and Lutherans and Greek Orthodox teachings all have differing opinions and beliefs but they classify themselves as Christians. The worst hate stems from Islam and the Sunni, Shiite, and Wahhabism fighting with Jihadists.

He got his teachings from other cults like the Olive Tree movement. Also, how do you verify that LMH saw the events of revelation if 2 of his prophecies have failed? It’s very concerning only he saw and we have tot see his word for it and he adjusts fulfillment when his predictions are wrong. What will you do when he dies?

Sorry pastor the promised shepherd today is just like Moses who had God's spirit in him in order for Moses to speak to the Israelites. This era we also have a shepherd who has Jesus's spirit in him and he is commanded by Jesus to teach the new covenant, Revelation to the world. You are mistaken when you stated this era's shepherd is equal to Jesus. The shepherd, Lee Man Hee never stated he is equal to Jesus at all. He was commanded by Jesus to fulfill God's will on earth as in heaven to create a new 12 tribes(God's new kingdom and new people) Mt 6:10. You have misunderstood the meaning of Jn 1:1-2. God prophesied that Jesus will come to be our Savior and to fulfill God's promises of the old and new testament. Jesus is the Son of God, He is not God as you have stated. God's word is His creation and is life. The Word became flesh means what God prophesied in the OT was fulfilled(became reality through Jesus). You had mentioned that Jesus says "if you see the Father then you see me", equating Jesus is God is wrong, it means God and Jesus working together as One to fulfill God's purpose Jn 17:3 and Jn 17:20-23. Read Mt 3:16 and Jn 14:8-10,24 . It clearly shows that God's spirit was working in Jesus. Jesus can not do anything on His own without God, the Father. God, Jesus, and the heavens are all working together as one to accomplish God's purpose and will, just as those who have the true seed of God, we are called to work together with God and Jesus as One. Jn 14:20 The buddying system you mentioned means the leaves are protecting or healing the fruits(new believers) Rev 22:2 . The leaves do not pretend to show love and care to the fruits, we genuinely care just as God says to love. SCJ are loving people of God and we are a uniting group working to fulfill God's purpose. There's no deceptions with the teachings. What you have learned from your seminary school as to the protestant and presbyterian doctrines are lies and misleading with their teachings of trinity, tribulation, rapture which are all false. These teachings are not in the bible. How do you know what you have learned from these doctrines are the truth. Look at the so called catholics and worldly christian leaders/pastors who has become rich in the name of God preaching the same doctrines that you pastor believe in. You don't think what you believe in is a bigger cult You need to have a spiritual understanding in order to know the wisdom of God. You can't look at the bible as total physical understandings. The bible contains prophecies and fulfillments as God intended. Jn 4:24 That's why the bible has parables(figurative languages)which are the secrets of heaven. Mt 13 If your congregants left the worldly churches then they have been harvested to the truth. Rev 14:14-16 Hearing you make up lies about SCJ is so sad especially when you're suppose to be a man of God
@Penguinsxz Жыл бұрын
You appear to have a weak understanding of scripture. As for the context of John 1:1-3, 14 its clearly stated that the word was with God since the beginning, and that the word is God. We can also see this idea being reinforced by Philippians 2:5-8, where Jesus humbled himself as a human and is an example of who we should follow in terms of humility, including doing the will of the Father while he was on earth. For John 17:3, I would recommend you read the entire chapter in its context, not just take a few verses out of context. John 17:5 Jesus clearly claims equality with the Father before the world began. I would also you look into the Trinity, for it addresses almost all of the points you have brought up. For someone who has the "highest truth", it appears as though you don't have a basic understanding of Christian theology. As for Matthew 3:16, John 14:8-10, 24 please refer to how Jesus humbled himself and temporarily gave up the glory which he shared with the Father in order to carry out salvation. One more thing to note, a difference in function for the salvation plan does not equate to inferiority. If Jesus isn't God, why are you okay with him receiving the same worship as God the Father in Revelation 5:9-10? And how is this not idolatry? As for Matthew 13, I'm assuming the verses that you are referring to include Matthew 13:11-15, and 31-33 is that correct? Yet again, you need to read the entire chapter, as the disciples clearly understood what Jesus meant by verse 51. Also, to further shutdown your Gnostic argument (another heresy which also made an emphasis on the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven), please read the entire chapter of Colossians 2, specifically verse 3. It clearly shows that the entire "secrets of the KOH" is Jesus Christ himself, the one who allows us direct access to the Father (1 Timothy 2:5), for when he died the iron curtain between the holy place and most holy place was ripped in half (Matthew 27:50-52). PS, there are other Korean cults like the World Mission Society Church of God who also make claim to harvest and prophecy and fulfillment.
