I always liked the concept of a legacy game, but never wanted to get one because of the requirement for a specific group of multiple people to have consistent free time to play together. My City is the only legacy game I’ve gotten because 1. My wife and I can play just us two and have a blast, and 2. The “eternal game” where friends can play any time

It really is such a great game for those reasons. We hope they make a My City 2.

Charterstone ruined legacy games for me too and more because there was so much hype behind it

Tons of hype. And there are a lot of folks who seemed to love it but it was a let down for us.

You need to give other legacy games a try. I hated Charterstone as well. Pandemic Legacy Season 0 was the best gaming experience i've had. Clank Legacy was fun as well.

btw i played season 0 but haven't played 1 or 2 yet. the gameplay changes and evolves over every session.

I’m mostly through Pandemic Season one as my first legacy game and I’m not interested in trying another. I might try My City since it’s cheap enough and fast enough.

Legacy games are fun but you have to try out Risk Legacy or Pandemic Legacy

I am scared of Risk Legacy ha ha
