Nice tips ...But the platform changed in July 2022. Yann seems to be the last person who took the exam in the format. New Format started July 1st started with the new format. You will have to use a remote terminal. No local screen anymore . Its an ubuntu remote Terminal. One monitor only, no longer 2 monitors. The terminal can be laggy. Also no notepad but i believe if Ubuntu has a notepad you can use it.

Glad to hear it Benjamin! That’s the beauty of this exam - you get to retake it for free (at least when I last checked), so you can be less cautious about waiting til you feel super solid on all the knowledge. Just give it a try, is what I told myself.

I just completed and passed (THANK GOD!) both CKA and CKAD! anyone who tells you the CKAD is the easiest is a LIAR!!! lol i took the CKAD and felt like because it's an all around exam it was a lot easier whereas the CKAD is focused on very particular things! My best tip is manage your time wisely, YOU NEVER HAVE AS MUCH AS TIME AS YOU THINK YOU DO lol

What is the typical size of questions? Is the example given a single question with three tasks or three separate questions? Thank you.

I don't think that "Podctl" is the relevant podcast to listen to in 2022 because they are things from 2017, and in IT plus the fast-moving Kubernetes, I will not trust the information so much.

I did also enjoy the “Kubernetes Podcast from Google” but I did think the old episodes from 2017 were uniquely clear in their explanations of the fundamentals … to me, hearing the history of how something was built in a well-explained way helps me build a better mental model.
