My Classic Boat. Sadler 29 1988

It's not really your typical classic. But let me confess why I've done a Sadler 29. It might be one day. And her owner, Andy Hardwick is such a nice chap - I just had to go out on Southampton water for a days sail. Oh, another reason, I've heard on the grape-vine, there are business people on the Hamble, who are thinking of reviving the Sadler class. Now wouldn't that be interesting.
Anyway - it's good to be back on the channel, this was filmed well before Covid - so sit back and enjoy the Sadler with with Andy. Please share and thanks again for making us the most watched classic boat channel in the world.

I bought a Sadler 29 this year, my aim is to be able to single hand her. But, like Andy, I work full time and there never seems to be enough hours in the day for me to accomplish everything I want to on her. May have to sell the house and do early retirement!

I love to see another MCB video! I can't get enough of this channel! But...I forgot to mute my device before the video started, and once again the very cute dog blew my head off with its bark. I love every video on this channel but may I request that you please, please reconsider starting the videos with such a sharp, loud noise?

She isn't a classic at all. She's just a nondescript production boat with an ugly stern; small cockpit and big cabin like the rest of them.

@@pearlofqatar7779 Very Classy! The video should have been about you and your boat which proves that boats with a lot of room down below don't have to be ugly. Boat builders in the 1960s and before had much more taste and pride in what they were doing than they did later on with some exceptions.

A small cockpit is a big plus for me. The smallest the possible, please. Hate those boats that are half-cockpit and designed primarily for 6 people to sit & have drinks on in the marina.
