My Mom has this washer. I used to live with her so I used it to wash diapers back in 2010-1012. No issues. I recently had another baby and I needed to wash my diapers at her house. Wow! This washer thrashed my diapers. It is too rough. 😆

Oh and also. Liquid Tide free and gentle didn't do squat to clean my diapers. It has to be the powder. Maybe people had trouble because they were using the liquid?

I have hard water. I don't use anything to soften it.

So you just wash on medium temp for the second wash, not hot?

I use "eco warm" on our washer. The only time I use hot is if I skipped a couple days and felt like they were especially dirty.

Hey momma, I was curious to what wet bag you use? I’ve tried a few different ones and I’ve noticed that if I don’t ring out the water completely (from cleaning poopy diaper) it’s leaking through my wet bag.

Some wet bags have double layers. I have a Buttons wet/dry bag like this. It keeps in all the wetness. Also, when I'm out and about, I'll but a wet diaper inside of a wet bag and put that inside of another one.

You don't use a water softener? I haven't been and I'm worried about ammonia and trapped residue in fibers and whatever else...

I don't and haven't had any issues. I've been cloth diapering for nearly 16 months now.

LainasLife thank you for replying, sounds good, shoot calgon is expensive and tbh I don't know where it goes in a he frontloader especially if you are using a powder detergent 🤷, thanks again

We do have hard water. If I ever start facing an issue with my laundry, adding a water softener will be my first go-to., but in the meantime, all is well.
