Yea, and at some times it seemed to be beyond the normal hours of visiting. I would’ve locked my doors every time i left the room if i knew we had some crazy neighbors

I lived in a suite when I was at a JUCO and we never locked our main door except for nights because it was just easier for everyone.

When I was in college (not at Alabama) we had our student ID cards that buzzed us into the common area of our little apartment and we had keys for our individual bedrooms (similar to how she’s saying her dorm was). So no one not assigned to that dorm besides the RAs or the DPS could get in. I wonder if they had that or not? If not sounds like that school needs to implement that, safety hazard for sure!!

You honestly just never know what to expect living in Pres. Whether it's the roof tiles broken in the middle of the hallway, wall signs ripped OFF the wall, an unidentified substance on the elevator floors/buttons, or the fire alarms going off at 4:30 AM. Living there was.....truly a time. Maybe I should have lived in Riverside or something lmao

yeah my first mistake for freshman year was thinking that my roommate was going to be fine based off a twenty minute conversation. I lived in a suite so luckily I ended up becoming friends with the girl next to our room but it still sucked because my main roommate did not like me AT ALL. One of my roommates was friends with a lot of guys from different floors because she partied more than the normal human did. And I remember she would ALWAYS leave the main suite door unlocked and it pissed all of us off because there were times where guys came over and watched some of my roommates sleep. And the girl didn't care at all. Although a lot of this would have been solved if you locked your door but I know that's not just up to one person.

Ok, so what's the deal with leaving the main door open all the time so that these clowns could come in and wreck the place? Why did nobody ever lock the door? I feel for you - that was not only a story but an ongoing living situation. In a video around the time you were graduating I think you talked about how you considered transferring freshman year? Getting that! While dad wondered what kind of school is she going to. LOL!
