I came across your youtube channel on tumblr as I scrolled down my dash board and this video caught my attention right way. I literally started crying half way through the video because your experience is pretty much identical to what i went through. From the whole losing friends, to coming out then being forced back into the closet and finally coming out junior year of high school. Like There are times you do feel alone but who would have thought that someone could be experiencing the exact same thing somewhere else in the world. This is definitely a very inspiration video.

people tend to hate on things they don't understand. Its up to us to be the better individual in those situations. you survived it. your story gives people like me and everyone else who'll find this hope. I'm really happy I found this. thank you

As hard and hurtful as it was to be bullied by that kid in the PE locker room, as bad as it felt to you trust me that kid had it much worse. As sure as I am sitting here typing this I can tell you that that kid was not so much bullying you for being gay but bullying himself because he probably has the same gay feelings but deep down inside that scares the shit out of him. Those who bully and hate us the most are usually gay themselves but are locked in their own closet unable to free themselves.

Honestly, I felt chills running up and down my spine. I feel so much empathy for you because I know a LOT of people that came out, and for some it was similar to your situation. It was hard for me to support some of my friends because they were severely depressed. Their scars are my scars, and I will defend them till the very end. You're an inspiration to those who need this type of support in order to accept themselves for who they are. Thank you :)

You and I come from different schools. My high school was like 60% Asian the rest Latino and black. But anyway, I know what it's like too but think about it. We're much better people because of it. We understand pain and struggle, we grew stronger. You're a cool guy Scotty, hope you don't feel like that again

hey Scotty I just watched your coming out video and I felt so bad for you that you got bullied in school. I'm Asian American too and I'm gay too. I didn't get bullied like you did in school but I have experienced some of the rejection from in the gay community like you talked about in your other video. I'm glad that you became a confident person now. I subscribed to your channel now because you are a great inspiration to me! take care man.

I've been going through and watching all your videos. this one touch me the most. I remember being bullied in high school people calling me a fag I give you props for going into the locker room. I failed PE because I flat out refused to go in there after a bad experience. I had friends that did help who I lost contact with since I moved but I still think about. My mom knows she would never except me being in a relationship with a guy so I've been afraid to even try my dad isn't in my life and does not care about me so I'm afraid the most of loosing the one good parent I have. I see where you are in life now past his point and you seem happy I hope to get there someday. Thank you so much for this. posting something this personal isn't something I thought I would do but im glad that I did. I've been thinking of starting a channel and you have encouraged me to do so.

It was painful hearing your story. I’m so glad you posted your story not just because you are a gay man, but because you’re a gay man of Asian decent. It’s important for other boys to see this and know how to navigate their young lives. For many parents I believe the main reason so many have a difficult time when finding out their child just might be gay is they know how difficult their journey may be. It’s that lifestyle filled with loneliness, mental anguish and self hate that has them fear for their child once they know they are gay. It doesn’t have to be that way. When someone realizes they just might be gay, and with family and friend support will help them deal with their own self-acceptance as they grow in the journey through life. As a teacher whenever I find out a former student has come out as gay, my heart breaks for them, and not because of the fact that they are gay, but because I hope and pray that they have the fortitude and strength to deal with a lot of the crap that is out there. I am proud with how your strength in spirit is moving you forward as you show those around you this what a modern gay man looks like. Stay strong, be well and keep sharing your story. I’m Alex from LA. 💙🙏

It honestly touches my heart for people who come out, I just wish I could do the same. I come from a family and a town where being gay or anything other than straight is frowned upon. Also to make matters worse I'm African American in a community that is predominately white and racist. So I already get bullied for my skin color. I've been bullied my hole life even till this day, and I'm a sophomore. I've lost friends who have betrayed me and joined other kids in the bullying. The bullying was so bad I had to hide in a cabinet under a drinking fountain. One day I hope to have a life where I'm free to be who I am, and love who I want to love. But until that day I just need a friend.
