My first competition pistol was a hk usp compact in 40 because that’s what I had. I then ran an xdm in 9mm. At the time, the xdm was great! Still have it and it has never been a problem.

Honestly the XDM's really weren't a bad gun! The PRP trigger kit made it pretty solid.

I started competition shooting January 2022. Since then, i went from a beretta apx to cz p10f to glock 45 back to cz p10f to glock 17. This glock 17, gen 5, with the timney trigger is a beast. I plan to run it til i get my mpa ds9 hybrid.

@@Tsunami_Simba yeah man I had a good time in the job and got to do a lot. If you have to get your own gun I would pick one that you enjoy shooting. M&P, Glock 47, Walther PDP are all solid options.
