Nice collection, hope you get to complete it. I would add the round £1 to the album. Would look nice in a picture frame with a matt black background then hung on a wall. Perhaps you could add a video of the coins missing but are available. You never know someone watching it could help you out. Recommend an update every so often of the coins you have acquired for the collection.

The old large 10p's are great. I have 2 that are mint errors(1975/76), they have no milled edge, they look flat and have no raised rim. It would be great to get the date error 2008 20p (no date on the coin) and often these coins were minted with raised die flaws in 2008 as well. I also have a 1972 50p with the EU on the reverse (hands), the older coins are all lovely big coins. The old large sized 50p is my favourite, followed closely by the old large sized 10p. I used to spend these coins, the 10p coin in the seventies would buy you a bag of chips from the chippy (with scraps of course) or a nice bag of mixed sweets or a bag of crisps. Those were the days!

Hi Ethan, I have a 1968 New Ten Pence coin, but it looked rusty when I got it. After rubbing it a bit, it appeared to be copper. I know it is make of 75% opper and 25% nickel. Is it common for thes coins to appear copper?
