This may be why I enjoy your channel as much as I do. So many focus on horror and horror is not my main priority either. I say this even though I am a 3 year subscriber of Vinegar Syndrome. I just use the Blu-ray site collection statistics to track my collection. According to that Horror is number 6 at 5.8% of my collection.

Fright Night (1985) is one of my very favorite horror movies! It’s got great characters and script, plus the direction, music, makeup and specifial effects are amazing! Being such a big fan of the original, I really didn’t like the remake as it lacked the originality and charm.

They shot that movie, The Messengers a couple kilometers from my parents'cabin in this old abandoned house, they rebuilt half of it and then tore down what they rebuilt when they were done.

Haha I feel the same about dressed to kill I have the indicator import and it’s a good film for how it’s made but never interested in rewatching it! Bram Stokers is top notch. The Final Girls is fantastic

I recently upgraded as much of the aliens and predator universe as possible. I already had the Blu-ray collection of Alien 1-4, maybe 5. I can't remember, but I wanted to binge all the aliens before the new one was in theaters. (Amazing btw) so I have the 4k of Alien and Aliens, Prometheus and Covenant, and the Blu-ray of Alien vs. Predator 1-2, both unrated cuts, and I am excited to watch those two. There is a small ick factor in terms of plot and script writing for Aliens 3, but it kinda dies down towards the second half, and ignoring that, it has some exciting premises that make it a good watch. There are a few minor scenes in Alien 3 where they don't use practical effects on the alien, so they are using CGI from that time, and it ages those scenes significantly, but it used sparsely, which again makes it an arguably better watch than aliens 4. I won't spoil the 4th one, but I think they didn't spend enough time going deeper into both the lore of aliens and the main character plot twist enough. My rating for aliens alone would go Alien Romulus (the new one), Aliens, Alien, Covenant, Aliens 3, Prometheus, and Aliens 4.

I just picked up Aliens today on 4k lol found it new with a slip for $25 at a store so I grabbed it. I want to get Prometheus on 4k but might just keep the Blu-ray cause I just found out the 3 or 4 disc Blu-ray of Prometheus comes with an exclusive making of documentary that the 4k doesn’t have so I might just upgrade to that version. I personally didn’t care for Romulus though I really want to revisit it now that I’ve seen it once but I had very strong feeling about it, made a video, accidentally called facehuggers “face crawlers” in the heat of my rant & the alien fan bays came for me hard in the comments 😂 I’ve only seen Aliens 3 a handful of times & 4 I think just once

@thelastmoviestanding if you do watch the 4k, the blu rays audio isn't very good, constantly adjusting the volume. Keep in mind that I'm just using a tv, not any surround sound or even sound bar.

Use a blow dryer on the stickers and then slowly pull them off. It helps remove everything without damaging the box.

You gotta watch the original Dawn of the Dead. I like the remake as well but the original Dawn holds up much more than the black and white night of the living dead. I like the original night of the living dead as well but Romeros dawn of the dead always felt more like a modern horror film in more ways than just being in color

Final Destination 3 DVD is way better then the bluray I'm not sure what version i have but my dvd has a option to pick who lives and who dies and my bluray version doesn't which was kind of disappointing
