Cool setup. I could see an ambulance causing some concern, at least for a moment down there. I'm only 53 but can feel the oncoming tide.

Wow that is a great effective campsite. We can see and understand the attraction to the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. A slice of heaven on earth. We see it didn't take long for Dottie to get used to the setup and be comfortable with the view. I had an idea about your water transfer routine. Maybe use the back of the pickup bed as a platform to transfer the water to your trailer. Just backup to the trailer with the pickup and do everything from the tail gate. Protect your lower back and legs. 😊

You got a nice setup bud. I always bring my metal detector last time I found a gold ring less than an inch underground. Enjoy

Organized and functional. How do you keep the wind break from going airborne?

The ambulance was trying to find it's way out. I gave them directions to get back to the dump area since they wanted the least bumpy way out. They said they had no trouble coming in but couldn't find the way out.

Your windscreen is interesting, like the scenery lol, can some wind go through it? N i hear wind can be very strong at times there, does it stay up? 🍻

Wind goes through but there is a solid backing I did not put up. It easily falls over in high wind so I need to be careful

Wow nice setup been camping for over25 years and hope to hit the road full time next summer. Have done a bit of boondockig but no where as setup up as you. One thing I do is fill up 10 1 gal jugs and keep them in cupboard behind toilet so if I need them there ready to go

I have a question. I know the snakes kinda hide out during winter. But the scorpions still come out. Is this correct? Is there a way to make a perimeter around camp to discourage them from coming in? And also, do scorpions tend to get inside vehicles? Like on the seats, floor or what ever. Don’t hear much about them really.

🚐🏕Hola again ✌️ question: to avoid tire rot? when is the best time to “cover the tires” from the dessert elements?

@@benitadominguez2077 I’m not a good source to answer this very good question.

If I left a bike unlocked for 4 months in front of my rig would someone take it? What is the crime situation out there?
@Dottietravels3 сағат бұрын
Crime isn’t rampant but I would never leave my bike or generator unlocked

Yeah. I don’t think I’d tempt fate. I used to live out in the boonies in Washington state on Whidbey Island. I figured hey, I’m In the middle of nowhere I’ll leave my car unlocked. Well one day someone went rifling thru my car. So I never trust anything in public lol
