Togekiss ability as I understand the verbage. Every time your opponents active pokemon is knocked out you flip a coin to see if you take an extra prize. Rules - This ability can’t stack. This means the entire ability itself does not stack. Multiple Togekiss on the board does Not mean multiple coin flips. You only get to flip once. But every time an active is knocked you get to flip, so you could flip multiple times during a turn for multiple active knocks. Activators - If your opponent self destructs their own active pokemon, you get to flip for the effect. If you knock the opponents active pokemon with an ability, you get to flip. If you knock them with damage, you get to flip. You could potentially take 6 prize cards in one turn if you blow up 3 Dusknoirs on single prize pokemon in the active and flip heads for each knock on the active. Potentially busted tech

To be clear with the stacking part: "The effect of wonder kiss doesn't stack". Whats the effect of wonder kiss? The flip coin with the chance of taking an extra prize. So no multiple coinflips for one ko. But yeah, it doesn't say onces per turn lol

Hear me out go tatsugiri look at your top ten cards to get dusknoir and togepi and maybe use cards to place cards on top of the deck to make it more consistent

conversely though, I'd say the coin flip isn't the effect, it's just a condition that must be met. The trigger is the active pokemon getting knocked out, the condition is flipping heads, the effect is taking an extra prize card. Will have to wait for an official ruling, I could see it going either way.

Based on the language on the card, you can flip once per Togekiss to use the ability, but not more than once beyond the first heads. If you have 4 Togekiss, and the first Wonder Kiss fails, you can use the second Wonder Kiss to attempt a second instance. Up to 4 chances is pretty strong.

Just a note on Enriching Energy - why is everyone forgetting it could be part of a heavy Penny decklist? Think about how Control (Snorlax mostly) can just attach for turn, Draw 4, Penny up Snorlax, keep it out of Enhanced hammer / KO risks (it also plays Pidgeot V, so hey why not) In a pinch use it for a Regileki / Dedenne recovery based attack. It's just more cards for not much deckbuilding cost. Hero's Cape is good, but replaceable with Lux Cape / Bravery Charm / Handheld Fan. Enriching energy is like if Penny became Rotom V that can use the cards the same turn you play it, didn't put a 2 prizer at risk, AND has additional utility otherwise.

'Deduction Kit' is not necessarily only for turbo combo. It stacks the top of your deck, and if they release a card that reveals the top card of your deck, and then gains a crazy effect if a certain type of card is revealed, then it might become meta. I say this because this type of mechanic is present in many other card games

If im reading the Togekiss correctly, and correct me if im wrong, u basically cant have multiple togekiss on the board as it cant stack, besides that if ur able to take multiple knock outs in a single turn, lets say dusknoir, move damage around with radiant alakazam and finish off with ur attack for the turn, u can use the single togekiss multiple times in 1 turn?

You can only use one Togekiss per K.O, but you can use more than one Togekiss per turn

My understanding is if you have multiple togekiss you can flip multiple coins but only 1 heads will count (tails has no effect and effects can't stack) unless it gets ruled that the coin flip is the effect

Gastrodon is more relevant against cards like Archeops/Baxcalibur, which don't have free retreat cost and can waste resources to use each turn (which may be necessary for decks like Chien Pao and Lugia). Nevertheless, it's probably still not worth the space. But if we went back to a kind of format where decks like Baxcalibur were significant at some point it could be good.

I think Latias just removes it completely, could be a 10 energy retreat cost in total with card effects and it still wouldn't matter.
