I don't have Spongebob, as I never grew up with it. No interest in trolls whatsoever, so if I ever buy it (unlikely), it probably won't be in 4K. You have to understand that the 4K format is more than just "colors being nice". If that's all it was, I could turn the saturation up on my TV. There's a whole variety of factors that make the 4K format worthwhile, and for the price they charge for the things, if something isn't taking full advantage of the format, I don't see why it's worth it.

I started collecting blu ray's like 3 weeks ago, I got : Game of thrones season 1 & 2 Rise of the planet of the apes Zootropolis ( I dunno I already had it ) The entire DCEU lord of the rings 1 & 3 ( I want 2 but for some reason I can't find it anhwhere ) And a boxset for Pirates of the Caribbean 1-5

what, you haven't seen Six Feet Under?! get on it ASAP, it's my favourite drama of all time. well that and The Sopranos, can't decide. there's so many tv shows out there to watch and so little time. I'm currently rewatching Dexter but this time around with my parents and they are living it, there were 8 seasons and we are up to 4. don't own The Shield huh?

Dave, buddy, I'm going to guess that sense you keep saying "didn't have Netflix" "now we have Netflix" that is relatively new in Oz. I watched my entire collecting crowd go through this. Netflix will not have those series forever. Never sell a series you love/like because it's on Netflix, or pass up a deal on completing the series because it's on Netflix. Unless it's an Original (IE Orange/Black, House Cards, Maro Polo). Netflix will, not when, will loose the rights to stream them at some point. In the USA a large chunck of BBC/ITV stuff has been pulled from it, Futurama has been pulled from it. Netflix rents the ability to stream these shows/films from the studios and sometimes (in this case Disney) will tell them, no you can't have it someone else has paid more for it, OR we're starting our own service, we don't need you.

We've had Netflix in Australia for about 3 years. Don't worry, I completely understand how Netflix works with rights issues etc. The reason I collect physical and can't stand digital is for these exact reasons. Even if you buy a movie digitally, there's no guarantee you get to keep that forever. Most shows I've discussed that I'll just watch on Netflix instead of buying are Netflix originals, like Orange is the New Black. I didn't enjoy the show, so I wouldn't bother buying it all when it's there for free if I want to try it again. Shows I really want, I will buy. If there's something I don't feel I really need to buy, or just want to test out -- I'll test it on Netflix first. That's all I was saying.
