here in the States, we had Beatles '65 and Yesterday and Today among other packages, while Beatles for Sale and others I had never seen in person. I understand it was a marketing/packaging strategy, but I'm guessing U.S sales would have been just as good with the U.K versions. Back to the Egg is the only solo purchase I can recall.

I remember seeing some US imports in our record shops in the late 70's / early 80's. In fact my brother had Meet the Beatles, Beatles 2nd and Beatles 6th.

It also depends which album you like where you were at that time, it throws you back in time when everything was ok 😂, and sometimes you get that feeling back for a second if you play it, that's cool😂🎉.

Hi Lloyd, it is probably my 3rd or 4th favourite George album. Unfortunately I wasn't as kind to the late 70's Ringo efforts.

@@CookieMusic43 Hi Richard, i thought Ringo was pretty good (not great) until "ringo IV", was pretty much downhill after that. i am a big fan of the "beaucoups of blues" album, its my favourite of his (probably becuase of the country flair), he is currently recording a country album in Nashville, it is one i will actually buy upon release because i think that style suits his limited vocal capabilities (LOL, poor ringo!) - Lloyd

most of mine are deagostini as well and a few older ones ive picked up, your solo stuff is impressive, i have 4 or 5 paul, 2 john, 1 ringo and 0 george, nice collection cheers richard
