Time Takes Time is an excellent album by Ringo from 1992. Found a sealed copy on vinyl last year at a record show and my friend bought it for me for my birthday.

Loved seeing this. I got into collecting Beatles records this year and I've got pretty much all the Capitol stuff. I prefer original pressings and don't have any of the newer pressed stuff. I'll take my beat up copy of Revolver over the new mixes. Just a preference (and, frankly, cheaper). I DO now have several copies of different albums. If I find one in better condition I pick it up (if it's in my price range). Most I've spent is $30 and that was a for a couple plate original Sgt. Pepper's that's in very good condition. These aren't an investment or anything. They pressed millions and millions of Beatles records. I enjoy having them to listen to. It's like being in a time machine when I put on a record pressed 50 years ago or more. Knowing the copy I have could've been the copy I would have had at the time were I alive to buy it. Thanks for sharing your collection! I really enjoy your channel and your presentation. I hope to be watching for years to come!

My favorite part of having a vinyl collection is the smell. There is nothing like the smell of old vinyl and vintage album covers. I don't have a record collection anymore but I will always remember that smell and can almost smell it at will when I'm reminiscing. I feel the same way about books and comics.

I started putting all my 12 inch records on 7 feet high shelving units in a two-sided, 10 feet long aisle in the basement. It smells like a used record store there, I love it!

Respect, very cool collection with some rarely seen items! My Beatles collection has an Discogs average of 3,000+ € (ca. $3,500). All media, mainly vinyl. No solo Beatles included. My greatest pride: each UK 45 as first pressing.

It’s refreshing to see a video about how one can appreciate ‘ordinary’ or ‘common’ records. So much airtime is given to limited editions and rarities. Probably 90% of my records are easy to find, and I don’t love them any less.

Nice video and collection. I have most of those myself, plus many more. My parents bought me the almost entire USA Beatles albums back in 1978/79 (whatever was available locally). What a fantastic gift! That is when I started collecting. My brother got a JCPenny MCS stereo system with a cassette recorder and turntable at the same time. Of course I recorded all of them on cassette and listened to them until I wore them out. Three years ago, I got back into vinyl. I have over 200 Beatles albums that has only been played once or not at all. Many of them were still sealed. I have been recording all them in 24/96 and they mostly sound so good! I had the foresight back then to store them all in heavy sleeves so they were all mostly dust free. I have since re-packaged them all with poly-lined sleeves and newer heavier outer sleeves.

Nice to see a Canadian Twist & Shout LP on there, the three Canadian LPs are fun to own, and you can usually find '60s copies in decent shape for not too much money. It's cool to hear UK mixes on North American, rainbow-label vinyl from the '60s, they're not eq'd or reverb'd like the U.S. LPs. Beatlemania! With the Beatles is basically With the Beatles, and Long Tall Sally has that alternate universe artwork taken from The Beatles' Second Album in the States. Too bad Capitol Canada had to fall in line with the U.S. versions after that.

Great collection! I’m in awe of all the albums and solo albums of The Beatles that you have. Rock ‘n Roll Music Vol.2 was my introduction to The Beatles because I wanted to hear Revolution which I first heard on that infamous shoe commercial. I’ll have to watch the videos you did about the Mobile Fidelity Beatles album series since I have wondered about how those albums sound. Did you ever hear the Dr. Ebbet’s bootlegs of all the Beatles albums which claim to be mastered from very clean vinyl? There is one thing I have been dying to know. and I’ve always wondered this about Japanese Beatles imports: what exactly is an OBI strip?

If I remember right the green Label pressings were 77 - 80 and then purple 81 - 89? maybe I have that backwards. VR does have a lot of the Lps I Have! but, I have over 20k Lp's and 45's. promos and demos - some that may be quite rare. this includes dodge Ad 7 Inch 33's, 12 inch Dodges disks - including ads and pep rally disks!l My first two real Beatles Lp's were Please please me(Purple 81 Label) and Something new(Green Label) ... Thanks to the public libraries back in the late 80s and 90's, I took the time to learn about music. and now I have a huge collection and a hopeful start up radio station(Online) BTW: I have pretty Much the full Capitol Albums Box sets v 1 and two on original Cap. Lps Mono and stereo - I am missing the beatles 65 Lp in stereo though! yet, I will never sell them, if anything the collection will grow! Something new mono has tracks from What I understand The U. A version( Two or Three tracks) from the Help album. you should also try and find the US versions of Rock and Roll Music, the Silver Case with the coke glass on orange vinyl from 77 at least my 2x LP is from 1977!

Very nice, you've got a few I don't have. 😎 Do yourself a solid though and track down all the UK stereo pressings.. the 1 box, or 2 box EMI labeled LP's from the late 60's, early 70's are still cheap, plentiful and sound _incredible,_ better than any of the OG's. Or just get a UK BC-13 boxset and call it a day. Trust me, it's well worth it! 👍

I'm actually surprised that you don't have the original UK monos. Everything they did right up to the white album sounds way better and more dynamic in mono. I think you need to sit down and play all the UK eps back to back to get a true idea of what the band was about in the early days in mono and its a true revelation to listen to.

Honestly when it comes to let it be I'm really happy with Phil spector's overproduction I don't think it's intrusive on any of those songs my only problem with the let it be album as a whole Is a short grease inclusion of dig it and Maggie Mae When I originally listened to the album as a kid I always thought that was a kid I thought that's all they recorded of dig it honestly he could have dropped Maggie May from the album if we good at the very least the 4 minute version of the song I can't think of a valid reason why I dig it was cut down to under a minute I believe there's enough time and there's even enough space on the album for the the full song keep in mind let it be was only 12 track album and at that point it's not even a matter of Capitol Records because Capitol Records have to listen to emi records

You don't own the best and rocking Paul McCartney and Wings 1975 album Venus and Mars? I really think it's the best Wings album even much better than The Band On The Run album and that's a pretty good album, and Venus and Mars is one of the greatest post Beatles albums Paul ever did. I'm also really surprised that you don't also own John Lennon's 1974 great album Walls and Bridges.

Vinyl is so overrated, CD'S are much better, not only do they sound better, (they replaced Vinyl for a reason back in the 80's) they are much more easily storable, durable, and cheaper, In my opinion the only category Vinyl has an advantage is in the Cover art where the Cover just jumps right out at you but other than that....CD'S FTW

The Beatles sold a lot of records not because they were the greatest musicians but simply because their music was easy to sell to the masses: it had no difficult content, it had no technical innovations, it had no creative depth. They wrote a bunch of catchy 3-minute ditties and they were photogenic. Furthermore, the Beatles represented the reaction against a social and political revolution. They arrived at the time of the student protests, of Bob Dylan, of the Hippies, and they replaced the image of angry kids, fists in the air, with their cordial faces and amiable declarations
