They all turned out beautifully. I think my favorite completed one is the bus. Those are all my favorite colors so I'm a little biased 😂 my second favorite is the wee mice, too cute! As far as your WIPS go, I can't wait to see the hot air balloon finished. That one is going to be beautiful. I just finished a Halloween page. I wish more illustrators did Halloween pages. It's my favorite holiday 👻 every year we do a semi-spooky haunted house for the neighborhood kids and it's a blast. We have a huge party the weekend before to decorate and carve all the pumpkins. It's the highlight of the year for our family.

For the fruit, you should do it the darker version of the colors in the background (orange yellow pink) and then throw in a light and dark green! ❤❤

I know you said you didn't like the water in the shooting star book when using your watercolor pencils you can try activating them with an alcohol blender that's what a lot of others use that color and I use it as well in my Tales From a witch's Cottage book and it came out really well

Yes I’ve heard a lot of people say this! Unfortunately the technique doesn’t work well with my cheap watercolor pencils haha! But hopefully I can try it again when I eventually get my hands on some Inktense 🤩💕

Just curious...does it take ages to 'edit' a colour-a-long? Speaking for myself - having something to watch (no matter how unedited or raw) would be a great learning experience (ie base-ing esp what media goes with what paper as per your watercolour pencils kinda warping a page). All *I* want is your hands, colouring 'tools' , books, chocolate, and decent lighting would be fantastic -- music not nec, don't even have to talk, just show names of pencils. I'm sure for a perfectionist (and I suspect you might be) this might be too much ... but thought I'd just put it out there.

Yes it takes me a verrryyy long time to edit my colour alongs (and you're right, it totally is because I'm a perfectionist). Thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts though. I have been thinking of doing some more "live" colouring videos that don't require too much editing so I'll definitely take what you've said into consideration 😍💕

regarding buckling pages in coloring books you could try to use the colorless blender from tombow instead of the waterbrush. Used the blender recently with my inktense and i quite liked the outcome :D as my birhday is on monday i will see if i get magical woodlands~ I also like halloween themed pages for october have some on my radar in my minimania books and mythomorphia

Hi Sharon, WIPS means pages that are started to be colored,but then they are not (yet) completely finished ...... At some point in the future they will be finished coloring (or not.... 😅)
