I always loved to decorate empty egg shells with my kids and hang them from the ceiling on a branch we got from the garden. I know that this might be a German tradition, but it is fun - and I still use the eggs we painted 20 years ago, now that the kids are all grown up. You can use a different technique each year as the kids' skills develop and you will have something to remember those days ...
