Hard to get parts seems to be the theme of of Auto Repair Channels I watch here on KZbin lately. Another waited for three months for an OEM Liftgate since the parts yards wanted thousands for the same part from a boneyard.

Great video 👍Todd top banana on the paint job as to the lower door wing step just take some cardboard and wedge between door and wing and gently use the door to pull the wing out😊

Ive done the SAME exact thing with a backup camera, on a hatchback, I forgot it had "running lights" So I thought they were the reverse also lol. Glad to know I'm not the only one lol

A buddy of mine has a 2021 Silverado. He paid off the loan and 2 weeks later he hit a pole in a parking lot. Dealer told him it will be at last 6 months to get the parts and they will call him when it comes in.

I think your on too something with your “conspiracy theory “ I’m not sure it is a conspiracy? I’m sure it’s frustrating not being able to get parts in a reasonable amount of time.
