The sad part is that this mentality is a lot more common place than you would think. So many people seem to think that businesses actually give a rats ass about where you’ve gotten your degree. Most care that you just have a degree if the job calls for it, since it’s usually just a check in the box. What many employers WANT are employees with certifications and clearances which show that you actually know what the hell you’re doing. Of course having good references never hurts anyone.

I worked full time ( even with just small salaries) for my family & siblings so they will be the one who can continue their studies I don't mind being the one helping my mother providing my siblings with money..my mother always the one taking care the family while my father only knows how to work & plays with his phone at home & not taking out money for my mom or my siblings :( so it's been struggling with a father like that

Certifications will go a lot further in fields than a degree because while a degree does show dedication a certification shows expertise. Having your certifications will help you open the doors, then once you get the job in the field you want, you can go back for the degree.

Kanemura is a fool - self proclaimed "elite" or not. WHERE the degree was earned is irrelevant. The REQUIREMENTS for any given dregree ARE THE SAME - be it "Tokyo University", or a local Junior College. From the sounds of it, he "graduated" by getting others to do his work, cheated on the tests, and possibly numerous bribes to the instructors not to flunk him. A "D-" in every subject IS enough to get a degree below "Master's" and the "Doctorate" degrees, by the way. "First In His Class" ... somewhere in the middle ... or ranked number 200 of 200 students, is irrelevant. The degree is the same. Also, getting the degree is a PAST accomplishment. What MATTERS in Real Life/The Workforce is what you've accomplished RECENTLY SINCE. IT failed to realize (until it got hit over the head with the fact) WHAT college/Uni one attended has LESS THAN ZERO affect on any future promotions. Promotions are awarded solely by PERFORMANCE. Just because someone had a piece of paper saying they "earned" whatever "degree" does NOT equate to that person is competent to actually DO the job, even if in the field they got the degree in. Kanemura in his stupidity and arrogance also made the major "oops" of "believing" the degree was a "end-all lifetime achievement" that GUARANTEED success WITHOUT having to put in any effort or actually do any work. Kanemura WILL be an arrogant loser, alone, in deep debt, and in poverty until after he takes his last breath in this life, and between his first and last breath in ALL his future lives. In this life he will be lucky if he ca get a Yakuza or Mafia loan to pay his tab at Yui's club and the damages he owes his former company after they sue him, and is allowed to work off the debt on some north sea Eel Fishing boat, or working a coal mine "somewhere" deep in the African Sahra Desert. Obviously, his family and former "friends" will cut all ties with him because of his actions. (his "friends" also dump him because he cannot pay them to be his "friend" anymore.)

This story brings an interesting point about how a piece of paper can't necessarily measured someone ability at work. Kanemura graduated from a top collage, but it turns out he's struggling to get that certification, and he still being incompetent at work. Meanwhile, Keiichi might not have flashy education certificate, but he's very efficient at his work. Kanemura can have hundreds of degree on his resume, but it didn't matter if he can't do his job right. It's just a waste of money to keep someone who's incompetent at their job.

He made billions just from the first one he catched that time at death's door and since then he kept going for the rarest fishest in the most troublesome waters. Then he said he would raze the hostess club to the ground, to make a storage room for his dropshipping business. Noa was furious, but Kanemura didn't pay attention to her. He went to Keichi and he gave him a Powerball ticket, a 180M winning ticket at that. He told him: "I don't need this money, I may as well as give it to you, my biggest hater." From behind Kanemura, 10 men appeared. They were masters in the linear arts, so no one could have seen them, perfectly behind Kanemura... "They're my uncles, so throw out Noa and Keichi and get me some tap water and ice cubes. Don't forget microplastics", throwing another rare fish on the counter. While preparing for the best meal, Kanemura thought that life was good.
