Sometimes parents just hate seeing their kid getting shit on enough to just allow them to be bad once. The bullying I received in HS went so far that my parents were telling me to fight. And so I did, and when I got suspended for 2 weeks they let me treat it like a vacation and play Mario RPG as much as I wanted.

I absolutely love your channel johnny! i think what made all these memories so vivid is partially because you grew up in the pre-internet age where there arent that many "distractions" and people are more present instead of scrolling through their phones all the time. love the authenticity! everyone has a past and should own up to them.

It might remind you of Star Fox, but your story reminds me of Star *Trek*. TNG, specifically, and the episode "Tapestry," all about how young Picard made what he thought were hotheaded mistakes in his youth, but they ended up making him who he was. Almost all of us have rough spots in our past that we wish we could pave over, but what matters is that we learn from them. That night could have ended much worse for you, but I guess we're all fortunate that it didn't! As for your opponent, he might have realized that bigger doesn't always beat crazier.

Ah, to be a Punker back in the 90s.. good stuff. Nowadays we couldn't get away with any of the shit we did back then. I love these stories. I'm a bit younger (born in 79) but there are ALOT of common grounds in your stories and mine. Too funny. Please we need more

This is a good example of the fact that we all do some totally stupid junk when we're younger and drive older people nuts with it. Johnny, you are the kindest, gentlest a-hole I know :P Thanks for telling the story! It made me want more D&D stories, though.

It’s always nice when someone is held accountable for their words 😊. Glad he got to reap the consequences of what he said. Too many kids today are protected by society and get away with saying anything they want. I miss the days like those you described. There were many neighborhood fights when I grew up and I think we learned to be wise with what we say, and never say anything you can’t back up! Great story man. If not for having been driving intoxicated and without a license, I would say you did it perfectly 😂.

That was me when I was a teenager lol. My ex girlfriend got with a new guy and he gave me shit over the phone too. What I did was. I went over to her house and caught the both of 'em in the garden. Guy seen me coming up the path, my hair flying in the wind and screaming "you're fucking dead!" . Guy jumps into his car and locks the door and she runs into the house to get help. I circled the car and put my boot through his window, pulled him through the glass and kicked him up and down the garden. I have a few scars on my hands from all the glass. I had a few drinks beforehand, the guy was like 10 years older than me too. Crazy times, man. I just ignore that shit now.

I have a way different star fox story: I was probably about 6 years old, and my mom just got back from the video store. She rented Star Fox on snes for my brother and she rented the movie, “Candyman.” She started the movie and said “im not sure you want to watch this, It’s really scary. Why don’t you go downstairs with your brother and watch him play his game.” I decided to be tough and watch the movie. Well, about 20 minutes into the movie I was terrified and went downstairs to watch my brother play Star Fox. That decision was seriously life changing because that movie honestly haunts me to this day. This is what I think of when I think of Star Fox.
