The absolute batshit things we and all our parents went through, grinning and bearing it, thinking “this better be worth it, this has to work.” Imagine giving up your whole life, sleeping in vans, marrying a stranger you’re really not in to, forced to have a traumatizing three day (or more) long sex ritual, with the promise of perfect sinless children and families, only to discover that we’re just regular-degular people and your family is in shambles. It’s no wonder our parents felt like the most terrifying, unsafe, mental people, and we were desperate to be anywhere else.

@@FaithY3n Alright. and what's your opinion on LDS. Am a secular guy who's not had much spiritual development, but as I approach my mid thirties am thinking of being a bit spiritual. I may do mushrooms instead of religion, but I heard it works better when the taker already has a solid direction, plus I dont know what mushrooms will do to my neurology (because I am gifted).

Throughout this video and the last, I loved when the music dropped for your jokes! I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian/messianic home and I'm no contact with all of my family. I have ADHD and C-PTSD as well as fibromyalmgia. I'm sending you so many good spoons. It's deeply frustrating to see these points of information that you brought up and know that thousands of people still believe in and/or are trapped in systems of religious abuse. Thank you for sharing all you have, and fighting to stay heard.
