Thanks for the gospel presentation. Nailed it. Love watching your stuff and am excited to do the same on my truck. Got a '75 2wd 3+3 dually and a 1st gen cummins. Looking to put a tremec tr4050. Do you have wisdom on fitment on that tranny?

I do not have any wisdom on that. What I would do is buy a gm adapter plate for the Cummins and then work back from that

Gday Sam nice truck what trans has she got in her I got a 79 square c20 body with a mid 80s Silverado front clip on it Twin headlight on top of one another My parts man is perplexed how that got on there but it is I'm in Australia IHave a 12 valve and NV 4500 out of a 96 ram imported from over your way it has a block heater so it was from the north or mountains somewhere And twin ram banks show on it It's not in yet but will be in good time Just working out intercooler Radiator and a gearbox issue I have No Speedo drive + main shaft front snub wore out in NV hd Just trying to get parts through long range gear over your way Been watching most of your swap clips thanks very much it's been helpful so far I'm right hand drive so stuff is a lil different and parts sourcing can be tough but I'm getting there My truck was 4.5 ratio 14 bolt Now I have the parts to re gear to 3.4 hemisphere gears and rebuild kit for the 14T took some doin and some cash but b well worth it I'm goin to run light for a few years May go back to 3.7 or so when I start towing or get a different trans Maybe an auto but I'm just researching what at present Don't mind shifting at present I've had a lil manual bus for the last 10 years but am not getting any younger Cheers buddy and thanks again

I got a question I’m in the process of getting everything together to do the swap on a 83 c10 with the factory 6.2 diesel in it my question is do I need to fabricate the frame for it to hold up to the power?

I did a 1/2 ton 6.2 Cummins swap 3 years ago with no frame modifications and it’s still ripping up these streets

Nice Job! If your engine's vacuum pump is damaged or it does not have one, there will not be vacuum power to make the booster work.
