I'm so impressed how you took those files, made enhancements and further tweaks to improve wear-ability. That's amazing. I understand your situation, having a Stormtrooper suit, it can be very hard to move the arms up and down, plus the chest and ab pieces are stiff ABS. I look forward to seeing how you refine this! You gained a Subscriber!

Emily - fantastic work. Very clever modifications for mobility! I've taken a stab at modelling or modifying existing Iron Man suit files myself, so I know very well how much time that must have taken. One recommendation for your next build / upgrades - nRF24L01 transceiver. Super compact and easy to interface with an Arduino, but would allow you to trigger your effects from a single spot, and perhaps eliminate things like chin buttons (though clever!) and pressure sensors. Anyways, food for thought, and keep up the great work!

Your self-contained approach to the moving parts isn't lazy. It's good design. My work background is software testing (especially automation). In my experience, integration is the biggest fustercluck for... well, anything. Whenever you keep your design self-contained and modular, you're making is far easier to maintain, fix, and upgrade. Plus you reduce dependencies. Very good work. Your next step is to, piece by piece, swap out the plates with aluminum and/or steel. Then add stronger fasteners where the "less secure" attachments are... I'd say screws but you don't have a robotic assistant to assemble/disassemble. Maybe some sort of metal pin lock you can easily do & undo. Then it's time to add hardpoints for mounting tools & weapons.

I printed my entire suit on an Anycubic I3 Mega... Looks good. I built my suit when there were NO other 3D printed suit videos online and had to come up with a lot of the stuff off the top of my head. now i see there are several 3D Printed Iron Man suits. A lot of the same things I did, which makes me wonder lol, but a LOT of new intuitive things I couldnt even begin to think about. Its cool to see everyones new ideas. I kinda wanna build another merely because i learned a TON after my first one and have seen so many other good ideas. keep it up! wear it out, people love it
