I have a 357 Big Boy done up by MPC too. I kept the pain job pretty minimal tho cause i wanted it to match with my Korrh NXS. Are there more practical options out there? absolutely. But they’re fun and sometimes guns should be just that. Fun

Have you had the pleasure of using the Holosun Thermal | Red Dot hybrid? Which sorry idk the actual name for swing Holosun thermal that is used exactly how the sting IR is on this rifle build. If so I’m sure you’ve seen videos on it. Knowing what you know about it as of now, would you replace the sting IR with the Holosun solely based on performance? Only asking about the swing version of both of them.

so I see the allure of 357 mag, its just more affordable. But 44 mag, and 44 special... and the modern loads, seems I recall iraqvet8888 or someone did a velocity workup on it and it was actually optimized with modern loads for a shorter barrel. Much more effective on target in sub sonic if you got 44 special. Also the best can on a lever gun is an osprey... just gets you in the feels and easier to get it under a hand guard on a lever gun. Cool build though, and unlike 44 mag, 357 lever pairs well with a side arm in the same caliber.
