ThyMusicMan I received my vintage sunburst Friday. Thing is marvelous. Neck feels so good SS frets make bends smooth as hell. In tune out of the box. Beautiful striping on the neck. I almost ordered the Charcoal frost, but the sunburst was calling me (and the 5 month back order was tooo crazy) I’d love to see it with the black replacements. Have fun with your new Cutlass man.

The exact opposite happened to me. I saw the cutlass CT50 hss in firemist silver and wanted it. Then a few months later they started building Ray34 basses in the same color. They're both very lightweight. Beautiful.

I've had and sold the Valentine & Stingray RS. Finally got the HSS Cutlass RS, it's really really good, first gig with it today. Might get another Stingray too, but I'd need to fit a Thornbucker in the bridge if I got another Valentine. Great demo Pete

I have the same guitar and fell the same way! (okay, I suppose it’s tied with an all-rosewood neck strat). But the neck on the Music Man is, like everyone says, addictive. And somehow the pickups capture that strat sound better than any other strat I hear!

Bought my youngest son the sub series version from Anderspoons last year. He loves it and it’s great for a first guitar. The neck takes a bit of getting used to as they really do have their own neck profile but he is managing to rock it nicely since he got it in the summer. He is way better than I was in my first six months with a geetar back in 198cough, splutter. Also Humbuggers.

Unfortunately, Ernie Ball Musicman are vastly underrepresented in the UK....they are, IMO, some of the highest quality instruments for the money. Extremely well thought out, very comfortable, great tones, and unique. Most of my collection is EBMM basses/guitars and I want more!

That's a beautiful Cutlass. About the nicest I've ever seen. I love that shade of green. I plan to buy the budget Sterling version of this Hss cutlass. I'll likely go for the dropped copper color since in reminds me of Fender's midnight wine color they used to have. I had a standard strat in that color. Ernie Ball is putting out some great guitars and I love the Cutlass models. They have improved on the Stratocaster type guitar in all the right places.

Really Diggin the Charger green and a fantastic flamed,roasted maple neck.the acoustics are absolutely viberant! THIS reminds of `What`s the best` (Andertons latest vid) & CA calls the Ibanez a journeyman`s tool, now, I am a journeyman, & I own lot`s of tools, some are just too precious-& not all for cost reasons- to take out in a work enviroment/tour, but that guitar, I`d lug that around for the sound alone, beautiful sounding guitar but, under the radar (to baddies) & one hell of a great looking guitar!

When the Stingray Bass came out in that colour and then I saw that the cutlass wasn't offered in that colour, my heart sank. I'm glad you were able to get a hold of one! I'm not judging anyones taste, but the stereotypical guitar colours like sunburst, candy apple red, cherry stain, seafoam, etc., give me a feeling of exhaustion. It's like a radio station that plays the same 5 songs over and over and no matter how cool the songs were the first few times you heard them, after 1000 listens you just resent them so much. So many things these days are just so plain and repetitive.
