My Dad Bought His Lifelong Dream Car! Intro And The Beginning Of A Long Restoration.

This is going to be the beginning of something special. Ever since I can remember, I have heard my dad talk about how he wants a 1957 Chevy, but due to life, family, etc.. He never got one. Well now, fresh into retirement, he has found the perfect project car and I am excited and honored to help make his dream a reality. This will the first of many episodes showing the complete restoration and customization of this sweet classic!

I love Chevies and four doors. I own a 63 Belair my Dad bought in 1966 and a 63 Impala (in Minnesota waiting for my holidays trips) and a 63 Corvair Monza as well: 4 Four doors are much more practical if you have a family. This car is not molested a lot. And a beautiful color and interior as well. I love stuff original. Those 6 cylinders are very bullet proof. I think you can make it running. If you put a modern engine in it it will be a modern junk in an old shell. That will destroy a perfect survivor in my book.
