Wish you all the best Oom Gaza. Your insites are truely very on the spot and I believe we will see you watching that Eden Park test. The most important thing with this illness is to get rest, and lots of it during and after the chemo. The body needs to repaire it self. My Mom needed rest after remission, but like most Moms could not sit down and treat her body with care, which it looks like you do. Your knowledgeable mind is up there, with the best. 🙏 🇳🇿🤝🇿🇦

I hope Schmidt stays because it'll mean his son is doing well and that's the best outcome for everyone involved. As a Reds fan I'll be sad to see Les Kiss go (if he does) because I don't feel like he's had quite enough time to get the Reds to where it looks like he could get them. Dan McKellar and Bernie Larkham are the other options, most interested to see what McKellar could do, don't think Larkham quite has enough runs on the board yet. Hope everything goes well with the treatment Gazza.

Agreed, for the Eden Park record to mean anything the AB's need to play the games as they come, so bring on SA and face the world's best
@masterq2.03323 күн бұрын
I as a Saffa, obviously remember the 57-0 drubbing. What is not so obvious is how glad so many Bok supporters were glad about this. It needed to happen in order to shock/right the system. It wasn't that that the picking fields for the Boks was that poor. It highlights what policymakers and management have.
@runforrestrun196523 күн бұрын
Yeah even Etzebeth was playing in that game, probably made a big impression on the young man back then. I bet hes glad SA now has a good coach.
@simoncrawley952523 күн бұрын
Genuine question. Lots of talk about letting kiwis go to ply a trade elsewhere, but where does NZ sit at when you consider schools, uni and other club levels with bringing in islanders? A well documented and known statistic. Again, no haters please... A genuine question as I appreciate the logistics question on selecting foreign based players.

At Harry Plummers youthful age, he will be a big loss if the rules are not relaxed
@JHPT-CPT18 күн бұрын
NZRU need to open up to picking players based abroad. SA has a huge pool of talent from schoolboy up to URC level and they still pick players based abroad … NZ is way smaller population wise and registered player wise so they should be open to picking players abroad and stop punishing players for seeking monetary gain.
@h3rsch0523 күн бұрын

@runforrestrun196523 күн бұрын
Well as a kiwi I dont see the Eden Park match as anything “more special” as any other big game there. It’s no different for the ABs as they always want to win no matter what time and place. SA is obviously treating this as a bigger challenge than they usually face because of the number of 50 wins there without a loss for the All Blacks which is to be applauded and i am sure something SA would love to have at any of their stadiums or anyone else for that matter. Looking forward to the French series especially if they bring their N01 team. 3 test series is always better than the single games in the championship.
@davidshekleton990823 күн бұрын
This debate on picking players from overseas!!!!!!... There is all this talk about rugby being a professional sport...... Imagine if the Brazilian, Italian, English, German, etc. Etc. Football teams had The policy of not being able to pick players who plied their trade elsewhere?😂.. not being able to pick players who apply their trade elsewhere in rugby is limiting the sport. Once again Rassie is way ahead of his time

Looking forward to the Saffa game at Eden park. It would be a tough win, but SA have never really been renowned as a great travelling team, and they did look beatable even in SA against a far from top form ABs team. So it could be an interesting match up. And the sooner they scrap the current stupid selection rules the better. Its time to face facts that local rugby is just not going to be able to keep the best talent in NZ, so by blocking selection of overseas players we are hamstringing the national team and will only continue to slide. Its a money sport these days, and NZ just doesn't have the money while super rugby is just a joke these days. 🤷
