Listening to these videos makes me cry because of how scared I am to lose my family. There’s been multiple times when my mom or dad has been stubborn and not wanted to got to the doctor when they could be seriously sick, and I don’t want anything more to happen to me it’s just terrifying. I was literally just going through my Recommended Videos, have never seen Reagan before. Thought "oh cool, this style looks interesting. And with it being about dad it'll be a good introduction video to see if I'll like the rest." -18:30-- minutes later (paused to read all the text)- *sobing my eyes out, running to mom to cuddle and love her* I certainly wish you guys the best lives possible. I live with my mom and we are all but excommunicated from the rest of my family, but I'm fortunate enough to have a number of friends, my mom not so much. And she lost her dad when I was turning two, her mom just before I entered highschool. And she was the rock for both of us, and who mostly raised me since mom was always out working. Idk why I needed to share that but I know it will always be a tough topic, and certainly want you guys to know the insurmountable waves of positive energy and feel goods I wish for you! 17 minutes and I'm emotionally attached to a man I'll never know 😭

This video reminded me of my grandfather who I lost about a year ago to heart failure. He was a big, strong old man with a belly laugh that always reminded me of Santa Claus, and who always was kind and loving to our whole family. I remember one prominent memory from when I was 5 where I had done something wrong and I was crying cause I felt terrible and was upset I was in trouble, he told me that if I didn't stop crying so we could talk about what I did wrong then he would start crying too. I didn't beloved him cause at that age I didn't think adults cried so I kept crying, then he suddenly let out the most over exaggerated sob id ever heard. 5 year old me stopped crying immedeily and looked at him with a look of complete confusion. It's one of my favorite memories of him along with many others that I will always treasure. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video about your dad and I hope he rests well, and to my grandpa, I love you and miss you dearly.

“I've never had a family member pass away in my life. I haven't experienced any tragedy like yours, but this definatly made me cry. And I'm holding on a little tighter to the moments I have with my family now because of this video. I'm really sorry for your loss but know that it's really influenced me, and has probably given others stuff to think about aswell.” I left this comment on this video 4 years ago. It has now been 3 months since my own father has passed away. He died a year after being Diagnosed with ALS. This video popped up in my feed today and I cannot describe how emotional it made me. Even more so when I read this comment. When I found out my dad was sick I was in another state and could not move back. Instead I took a plane down every month to visit him for a few days. I took care of him, watched his body give out and his speech whither. I hadn’t heard his voice for so long. Watching this video again has brought it all back, but now as I read the comments I don’t feel so alone. Everything you said about wanting to give him everything I could before he passed hit so close to home. But, only having a year…. The best I could give him was my time. And I know now that it was enough because I was always able to make him smile, even at the end. I even made a joke to him once that now he knows that when he got old I would be there to take care of him, and he wouldn’t have to wonder anymore because I was there. I just wanted to share that. I’m so happy this video came back up on my feed.
