Hi! I'm owner of a Gen1 Pajero as well. Which, in this case is a 1994 model which was one of the last units sold here by Mitsubishi Philippines before the Gen 2 Pajero was introduced in 1995. I must say that your 89 Pajero is still in good condition!

Nice. Very nice. Planning to get one. Hopefully a gen one but even a gen 2 will be fine... have used this engine quite a bit. Have an l200 doublecab. Just a tip. Run the engine oil at half full rather than closer to full. Old diesels run very high compression so lots of oil messes the seals.... lovely video very tastefully done. Be blessed

4d56 engines are very durable. I have a different wagon type vehicle in the Philippines with the same engine but it is the non turbo version. It is called Mitsubishi Adventure here. I love it. Definitely the most desirable undesirable car in my world🙂

Cool ride! Got the same pajero as yours but a manual and different colour. And yeay the suspension seat was always one of the good point of it, although engine oil leaks tends to happen

Hi, im in the same dilemma. Mine is 91 lo47, made up for road trips and off road, but craving to have a minimalist, classic looking 1 as yours. I guess not easy to reverse whats done to my pajero, so the only option is to get another 1 and start the new project slowly. So will have both worlds.

Perghh girl driving old school pajero mantap boss 👍🏽, I drive the high roof model manual transmission , my dad bought it since new, but since my dad is already 60+ and sometimes tiresome driving manual, I am the one in the family interested and be taking care of the car and also slowly maintaining it and trying to restoring it. Mine has nearly 600k kms and still going, as well as original paint still in good condition. Also soon goona install a momo evo 3 type steering wheel too.
