My new daily fat burning smoothie recipe that I use with Intermittent Fasting… is amazing. This fat burning smoothie recipe only contains a few ingredients AND it also uses some fruit to naturally sweeten it up! However, to keep this smoothie fat burning, I’m keeping the overall sugar fairly low while optimizing protein, fat and fiber to stay satiated and prevent snacking. I’ve also been loving this fat burning smoothie recipe after a swim or strength training workout to get the amino acids my body needs for muscle repair.

I am a 62 year old type 1 diabetic and have been unsuccessfully trying to loose weight since months but mostly gave up due to hunger pangs. I came across your smoothie recipe. I have adapted it a bit and am losing 100 grams a day without feeling hungry and without starving my body of nutrients. By now I have lost 2kg which was impossible until now. I have a boiled egg plus a large mug of tea with milk for breakfast, a smoothie and a large mug of tea with milk for lunch, an apple as a mid afternoon snack and a regular dinner with the family which includes a large salad, some protein and carbs. My version of your recipe is as follows: 3/4 cup thick greek yoghurt, 1/2 banana. 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1 tbsp each of flax and hemp hearts, 2tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp almonds, 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and turmeric and a large pinch of pepper with 1/2 cup water to blend it up. My nutritionist suggested having a Tbsp of peanut butter with the apple as a dip to help balance the sugars in the apple and add a little extra protein. Just a suggestion…

Made some extra coffee so I could try this smoothie. Never thought to make a coffee smoothie before because I usually think of them being fruity. I swapped out the banana for coconut butter to keep it lower carb, and almond butter instead of peanut butter. I also opted for unflavored collagen powder instead of greek yogurt. I topped it cacao nibs and toasted coconut and it is soooo good on this unusually hot day in the Bay Area. Not very sweet, but I've come to prefer my coffee unsweetened since I stopped using artificial sweeteners. Definitely got a winner here.

All I’ll say is tortilla is not pronounced tor-till-uh if you’re picking up what I’m putting down. Haha.💜 love the vids. I just started intermittent fasting again and I do a 4hr window but it usually works out to 3. :)

Saved a screenshot and made it this morning. Not sure if I like it for me but I can see it being a favorite for others. tastes like what I would guess a chai latte would taste like lol but who knows. 7.5/10. The AMAZING part is that I am just half way done and I already feel really full/satiated. I never feel full so this is awesome. Mine came out to 530 cals; not happy about that but good for replacing lunch.

My Smoothie Recipe -1 cup frozen strawberries -1/2 cup frozen mango -1 cup frozen pineapple -1/2 cup plain yogurt -1/4 cup almond milk (or any kind of milk, adjust depending on how thick you want your smoothie) -1 to 2 tablespoons of flaxseed Put frozen fruits, half of the yogurt and half of the milk in your blender and blend. Add in the rest of the yogurt and milk as you blend (add more or less depending on the consistency you want it) Enjoy😀

Sounds delicious, but could be way healthier. Adding ginger and lemon could make this way better especially with spinach or cucumber. Do not use any milk, use unsweetened almond. Other milks can contain wayy more calories and fat

I have for many years been a one-pint-of-ice-cream-a-night snacker, but your videos have helped educate and motivate me to make the healthy shifts. To satisfy my craving for sweet cold stuff at night, I've been blending a smoothie with unsweetened Almond Milk, heavy cream, mixed berries, avocado, ice, and monkfruit extract. Here's my recipe: 1/4-1/3 frozen banana (or avocado), frozen mixed berries, unsweetened Vanilla Hemp mylk, Greek yogurt and/or Almond butter, ground flax or chia , unsweetened unflavored grass fed organic whey protein powder, and dash of cinnamon and cocoa powder

I don't wanna sound negative, but no smoothie in the world is going to burn fat, if you're not in a caloric deficit. I'm not saying breaking your fast with a good quality protein and fat smoothie won't HELP you achieve that deficit though. But the title is a little misleading and may make people believe they can drink as much of this as they want.

My ED’ing ass literally died every time she added more high calorie ingredients 😭😭😭 Like, I understand why and how they burn fat, but it just doesn’t sit right with me. I would feel so freaking guilty after drinking this even though it would be so beneficial 😭😭

Hi, I’ve been experimenting with smoothie recipes recently and chia seeds is one of the ingredients I’ve been trying to incorporate. I’ve fund it really gritty and unpleasant, soaking the seeds before adding to the blender helps a lot but still not the best. Has anyone else found a way of incorporating chia seeds without the grittiness?

Have you tried pre-grinding your chia seeds in a coffee grinder? This can help fully break it down before adding it to your smoothie!

I hope you understand that cassia that is called cinnamon in the grocery store does not have the properties of true cinnamon! It is very difficult to find real cinnamon even in natural grocery stores!!!!

Thanks!! this is mine and it has worked so well - fill the blender with kale -one handful of spinach -1/3 cup of frozen blueberry -scoop of protein powder -1 tsp of coconut cream -1 cup water with ice - splash of each unsweetened almond milk and lemon turmeric water (meal prepped) - large splash of cinnamon, flax seed powder, collegen and cocoa powder -blend If too thick add more water if needed.

Cinnamon in general has been found to be helpful for balancing blood glucose levels (and it tastes great with apples!). To help slow the release of the sugars from the apple, you may want to either pair it with your meal or at least pair it with a high quality fat or protein.

Unfortunately for me, after trying intermittent fasting for months over the past few years, it made me gain weight each time. I do a lot better eating healthily 3 meals a day with a snack. I don't think about food as much as I did while fasting which is a bonus.

I am dairy free, peanut free and caffeine free.....so this was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP WHATSOEVER !! Why use non-dairy milk if you use yogurt?? Makes NO SENSE!! I will not watch any of your other videos..........BARF!!

OMG thank you for sharing this! I replaced the full fat yogurt for a non diary one because of the lactose, however it tastes delicious! I was struggling with the fact that I couldn’t find a place for coffee in my diet because I only drink sugary coffee, now I know where to place it, thank you so much!!!

Love, Love, LOOOVE your channel and your recipes! I'm doing IF and wondering if I can swap my dinner and breakfasts and have the smoothies or breky-bowls at night? Sometimes I just like the ease of the smoothie for dinner, but wondering if it throws things off?

Only just discovered you, and I was sceptical about this, but OMG, it was delicious and filling!! I also was significantly less bloated after it. Winner!! Kept me full until lunch!! Double winner!! I had to omit the vanilla extract, but it was still yummy. Vanilla extract contains glucose syrup in the UK. Is yours the same in the US?

One of my neighbors is a PhD biologist/professor, he told me that cancer loves whey an ingredient in yogurt, and some protein powders. So I use unsweet vanilla Silk almond milk a yogurt alternative. I do not know what you think of this, but I thought you should know. I find your teaching informative, and helpful. Thank you.

Please help...I love the recipe, doesn't look hard, but I don't like yogurt at All. I'm fine with milk, but Not yogurt. Can I skip yogurt n still be yummy??

I’m allergic to cows dairy, all fresh fruit, maybe not frozen fruit, nuts etc.. I have terrible pollen allergies so that makes me allergic to fresh fruit. Please contact me!!! Need your advice! I’m new!

I can have any berries, kiwi, even mango, it kills my PH, it causes horrible acid reflux, and makes my mild gastritis 😵. Any other recommendation?

Why do people persist with talking utter nonsense? The natural sweetener in fruit is NOT sugar! Sugar comes from sugar cane! Nowhere else!!!!

I'm not sure how to find full fat yogurt. I find percentages 2% 5% and 11%. I never see full fat. I'm also confused about how much fat to eat when I'm not on Keto.

Autumn....I realy want to use your program but got off to a bad start. I tried the cinnamon coffee peanut butter smootie and it was terrible tasting. I know I did something wrong...I think it was the brand of greek yogurt. Can you share the brands you use when preparing things. I love drinking smoothies every morning for breakfast. It’s easy to prepare. My concern was that I always made the same type of smoothie each time. Is it healthy to eat a banana and PB smoothie everyday? Just curious…

I am sure it is delicious, however, if you are trying to lose weight, there is NO WAY on earth you will be able to do it drinking this high fat, high calory and high carb smoothie. Long time ago I have learned that using bananas in any state is a no no in weight loss. Full fat dairy yogurt (lots of fat and carbs), peanut butter - lots of fat, chia seeds - even though high in fiber have a lot of fat. Keto works because it uses fat for energy, but if you add all these carbs, there is no way on earth you will lose weight, you will gain it. Just saying....

As much as I want to watch and. Make these recipes. I can’t. Reason being is that you keep cutting and jump into each sentence like pause start pause start. Its just impossible to keep interested when you keep jumping to bits all the time. Just record already !! Warts and all.

I tried it and I liked it. I used protein powder instead of the Greek yogurt and unsweetened of almond butter (2tbsp). I was full till 2 from 10:30 and I was active in that time. I will decrease the coffee amount next time. I just started fasting the beginning of the month and have gone down to 1 cup in the am. This was extra coffee and I was flying a little. I enjoy your videos, first time trying one of your recipes and it was a win!

Autumn I Purchased three jars of thrive market creamy peanut butter and when I received it I noticed that it wasn’t just peanuts. It was peanuts and salt which kind of annoyed me because I don’t think it said that at the time I placed the order. Can I still use this peanut butter in the smoothie recipes? There’s no sugar just peanuts and salt but I’m trying to follow your instructions so precisely so I don’t wanna mess myself up.

This is a high-fat dairy smoothie with animal protein. Sugar makes insulin work better. Coffee is not healthy.

you know lying around on the beach and lifting your fanny up and down is not strength training. Strength training requires your heavy weights, as much as you can stand. What you did was little more than a walk around the park.

So the smoothie itself doesn’t burn the fat just avoiding sugary foods to prevent the insulin spike. This also looks like like if fills you up so you won’t eat as much?
