Love your video, I used to drink 2 - 3 packs of LMNT a day as that's my only "sweet" source, sadly all that sodium raised my blood pressure, be mind full of that.

I know this is an old post. All I can say is thank you. I was skeptical at first, boy oh boy, this is the easiest and best way to make Greek yogurt. Smooth double thick yogurt with a smooth texture, and the taste is out of this world. Thank you, thank you.

I even add 1 to 2 raw eggs to my protein drink. Yes you can eat raw eggs with no issues. I've done it for decades

I have read that the biotin in eggs if eaten raw is badly absorbed if at all. A whole, cooked egg (50 grams) provides approximately 10 mcg of biotin, or approximately 33% of the DV ( 4 ). You should always cook eggs fully, both to reduce your risk of Salmonella poisoning and improve biotin absorption.
@marymarseglia45362 сағат бұрын
when blended with the egg whites the biotin is great for you and your pets as well. Salmonella bullshit. Ive eaten raw eggs in protein drinks in my vitamix blender for decades++++ and never have been sick Im a certified pet nutritionist, dog behaviorist, trainer, pet expert, wolf expert all wild cat expert for 43+years and homeopath and know what im actually talking about Dont listen to the morons at usda, fda. Nor cdc Even wolves est on occasion whole RAW eggs If you eat too many or give your pets too many then yes you will get sick

I am glad you brought up the protein content of raw chicken, as opposed to cooked chicken. I am quite confused as raw chicken contains a lot of water, when cooking this water is cooked away, which leaves us with denser meat. In other words the protein is more concentrated. This, I think, would mean that you would then need only say 80g of cooked chicken to give you 25g of protein as opposed to 100g of raw chicken. And 100g of cooked chicken is more likely to be approximately 35g of protein (this is just an approximate, as the water in raw meat tends to be about 30%). If you can clarify that would be great!

Thanks for all you do. I like the recipe but ground lamb is a ton of calories so I usually go with lean turkey, chicken or beef. Obviously less lean will have more flavor.
