The fact that you say you bonded the most with Chloe validated everything I knew that you were so good for that girl. It sure took a special person to break some of those walls down. I remember at the very beginning of the show, baby Chloe wore her heart on her sleeve, and as she grew up that disappeared. It’s so awesome that Cheryl is so supportive & gave Chloe the help that she needs to be a successful dancing star. I resent Abby, because no wonder Chloe psych’s herself out! Abby’s so hard on her! 😡. Anyways! Speaking of Chloe, my fave DM moment was when Chloe was hired to be the little girl version of a pop star in her music video. Christy was so proud & happy for Chloe for being picked by the video director or producer as the mini me version of that pop star. Christy said that, Chloe worked so hard she deserved that starring role in the video. Go Team Chloe! 🤩

I think we always blame Abby for everything but the moms were just as bad : always complaining about not having solo and then complaining about how having a solo is a lot of pressure, insulting, yelling, getting physical with one another, talking down about other children ... We also forget about how much power the producers hold like who has solos and dance themes/style or the time schedule so they could make them do one scene over and over again so one child could not have enough rehearsal time. Abby is the one taking all the heat but I think a lot of the drama is the producers doing and it just put everyone on edge so they would fight with each other.

I'm so glad you bonded with Chloe. I don't know who could help it. Don't know if you've ever watched the old DM episodes, but if you do, you'll see her love of dance, even in season 3-4 when she was being treated so badly. The first solo I saw from her was the reunion version of "Seeing Red" -- my GOD. How could she be only 12 years old and capable of that? Then I saw earlier solos.... if you watch them be sure to watch the choreographer's cut or put "full dance" in your search. I still marvel at how beautifully she danced Wreck It, Another Girl, I Know It's Too Late, Into Me, Lucky Star... and all her musical theatre solos from when she was little -- I Want to be a Rockette, Ma He's Makin' Eyes at Me, I Like to Fuss.... and the other times when she took my breath away and looked like a professional --- The Raven, Black Heart, Angry Bird, Fired Up, Unchained, the group dance Light As A Feather, Stiff As A Board... even the Upside Down from season 7 (when she was briefly with MDP) Classic ALDC group dances like Glam, Bollywood and Vine, On the Verge, Just Be, This Is My Beauty, Rosa Parks, Free at Last, Gone Too Soon, The Last Text, I Want It Now, Sassy Dolls, Silver Spoons, Girls Night Out, Broken Dolls (even though she fell), even the problematic Tribal Council.... she always gave her all and drew the eye. If nothing else, you should see Silence from season 2 nationals - at age 11! - and Dream on a Star - age 10. I still get chills watching those from the pure emotion. Her group dances in Studio 19 are amazing too, especially Break the Silence and the senior first place winning duet (at age 13) Hangin' By A Thread. Of course the Love Is Blindness and Alice dance videos while so different are special to us fans also. So many other Dance Moms solos (and duets, trios and group dances). But it's not just the dancing, it's her sweet little heart that grew into this wonderful, genuine warmth that you can see in everything she does even now. Thank you for everything you did for her. I only wish you had been able to train her longer.

That’s why she was also chosen for the Joffrey ballet school scholarship. I’ve always loved how she danced and i’m so sorry that the traumatic experience ruined it for her. you could specially see it in s4, how burned out she really was and that’s why she didn’t progress as a dancer. im really sad about that, but im glad to hear Cheryl has bonded with her! Okay so I’m happy to hear that Holly is who she seems to be, the most sane Dance Mom! She definitely had her moments but she definitely seemed the most under control. Also yes Cameron isn’t an OG but she fit with them so well (including Gia I think her name is. Whoever came in with cam and Abby kicked her off), I honestly wish they kept her for the tour because she was apart of that final season and she was there longer than most guests, and she basically joined the team towards the end. It also makes sense that she was the most talented because the other girls didn’t have the classes they needed to progress over the past few seasons, but Cameron did. It sucks to hear that so many of the girls lost their passion for dance. Really shows how poorly Abby treated them, sometimes I thought it was for show but even on her social media now she still seems like a very angry person. I’m glad they all found passions in other things like acting and singing. It makes sense that Maddie would be one of the few to still be dancing because she got so much special attention (wether it was real or not) and she got so much real world experience away from Abby. That being said it sounds like there’s still some fakery to the comps, especially with your whole “listen they have 3 judges..” lol I mean I get it. You don’t want to shit where you work or once worked and that’s fine. Luckily the girls have already spilled the tea so you don’t have to lol. Sorry for the long comment. Enjoyed this video... Have to say I feel like Camryn is misunderstood. Some of that "attitude" might come from the other girls shutting her out/saying some insensitive things to a black girl... listening to some of her own version of events, that's what it sounded like. (She also said Nia, was always lovely to her). Often black girls are told they need to work on their attitudes, as an end result of all the b.s. they've had to endure on top of the everyday struggles. Attitude is often hurt in these situations. Hopefully she's learnt to express herself better, as she can't act the same way some of the other girls (shown on the show giving attitude) are privileged to do, without being judged harshly.

*Nia* is absolutely beautiful, funny, bubbly and she definitely did not get enough recognition! Her mom was also the easiest-going mother, and super intelligent to boot. I’m so glad Cheryl had time for Nia and realized that she really was a stunning dancer with loads of potential. *Chloe* is the sweetest soul ever. She was so supportive towards her team no matter what- she even lost her 1st place trophy to Maddie after an “accident” with scoring, and STILL, with tears in her eyes, said she was happy for Maddie. This all occurred when the poor girl was 7!! And she handled everything with such grace. *Kendal* came a long way since she first came on the show. If there was a trophy for it, Kendal would have gotten the “biggest improvement” trophy. She shed many tears over the course of the show and it’s really unfair. Kendal held just as much potential as the other girls, and it’s a big shame she lost her love for dance. Kendal was a performer and super entertaining to watch. *cheryl* thank your for seeing something in these girls that Abby turned a blind eye to. Thank you for looking at all of them, and being able to see a strength in each of these girls. I’m glad we heard Cheryl’s side of the story of what working on Dance Moms was like in her eyes! I wonder how she would feel about any of the girls competing on DWTS in the same season as her!

I'm glad you were honest and all the girls are adults now so no shame in the truth. You said good things about all of them. If someone has an attitude, then they have one and sometimes calling it out can help them realize it. I would hate to be known as the one who always rolled my eyes..but if I'm told every one sees it I'd for sure stop.

@@Jffy1902 ya but honestly look at all the drama from Charlie and Dixie from looking rude and rolling their eyes and they were held to a higher standard. There's a lot of negative stereotypes about Black people though, many folks often mischaracterize their benign actions as being rude or unkind, and it kind of seems like that's why Camryn replied to Cheryl; she didn't want her actions to be misinterpreted and reinforcing a negative stereotype.

you were exactly what those girls needed at that time in their life. you should be very proud of the impact you had on them and their relationship with dance. She is firm, gets a little sassy when needed, sometimes throw up some curse words, but hey, somehow she still stayed classy! SO IMPRESSED! her critique of the girls were spot on without being mean...She was encouraging, she was fair. I have never followed DWTS so I didn't know who she was. Thank you! i know that had to be healing for all them .. especially Chloe. If you would've watched Dance Moms.. i think you might have killed Abby for what she did to the girls. What she did to Chloe was so cruel and obvious! You would have been angered. She tore her down in front of people, convinced judges not to vote for her - even reversing a few wins that she received. She admitted in Season 8 that she never wanted Chloe to win. And as you know, Chloe is super sweet and pure heart. Thank you ... and thank you for helping Nia too.
