I have been thinking of the Daniel fast for awhile, I felt led to do this because I need understanding of my dreams, etc. I’ve started and stopped because I got so frustrated after finding out I was doing things wrong, I needed to get this right, I wanted it to work perfectly. I did it to pray for a job, my little sister's and little brother's school success and other things. On day 21, I got invited for an interview at my current job which I applied to 2 years prior. My siblings are A students now and my daughter's health is great. Fasting works. Go for it.

I fasted for 3 days after finishing high school because I needed direction to know what job and degree to pursue. On the THIRD DAY of my fast, I got a call from an accounting firm to come in for an interview. Apparently my friend’s mom sent my resume to the manager without me even knowing and my boss was amused. God always answers when we make a sacrifice through prayer and fasting. Trust in Him in every situation. Glory be to my Heavenly Father ❤️

I started the fast because i needed school fees and a job Amidst of the fast i got a job but it was paying very little and i took it anyways because something told me when one door is open for you just enter it's the first door and others will open after that one and i also thought my blessings are there too and i also got school fees while i was still fasting so my worries became less i started reading the bible everyday and after the fast i got another job offer which was paying well and wasn't too much work. I also started giving tithe to the church and helping those in need and it gave peace to my heart and my relationship with God became better .

Wow, I just have to say I was thinking.. "Hey, that's me" No follow through or commitment and always feel like a failure because I fall short. That's the enemies PLAN. HALLELUJAH. I am finishing a consecration fast with my fellowship. I did my best. Afterwards I will be doing a 7 day fast then the Daniel fast after that.

Thank you for sharing this. I was suppose to do this fast at the start of the year. I tried twice for ten days. First time I made it to Day 3 and second time I made it to Day 5, then I messed up. Instead of jumping back on, I stopped. I desire to complete this fast this year. I plan to take time to plan and then execute. Hello Ness. Thank u for this video n taking your time to reply the questions. Am on my 14th day of Daniel fast. I had a mental breakdown during the first week. I even cried. 🤣🤣I got depressed. I almost gave up bt by God's grace, am still moving forward. Am only eating fruits, vegetables and drinking water. I had a challenge on when to eat coz most pipo were saying from 6am-6pm. I started my Daniel fast for alot of the same reasons and it just kept coming up. But I didn't past day one. So many things happened (spiritual attack now I realize ) so I stopped and went back to the drawing board. Your post is describing almost exactly what is happening to me. I needed to hear it. SO GOOD! Thanks for sharing your raw experience. I am 10 days into the fast and I am pretty much where you were right around the same time. The food area hasn't been terribly challenging. Obviously, it is not easy, but not the hardest thing. I haven't seen much improvement in my relationship with God and that has been difficult. Thanks for your insight and tips. My heart hurts so much. I had a great relationship with the love of my life Berkay, and I thought God wanted us to spend our lives together, but somehow things went wrong.
