I had one of these for a short time in the eightys it fell to bits in front of my eyes lol always loved them as a car 2 million built not many left as they had an atrocious rot problem most were scrapped at eight years old .Nice to see one out there 👍.

my old dad had a blue one back in the 70's and my grandad had a light green Miorris 1300 with picnic tables in the back seats

When I was 16 my dad let me drive his 1100 in the caravan camp in Groomsport in Co Down. Great memories.....

John Cleese starred in the Clockwise film in the 1980s, and was a passenger in a blue Austin or Morris 1100, that was destroyed when it became stuck in a muddy field.

She was my friend and both of us were 8 years old and after this video her teenage babysitter let me and her take the old little car driving around and I was driving me and her and I said let's sneak off and try and drive down the mountain to the lake to go swimming and the little girl said sure but what if something happens and we crash so when I was driving me and the little girl down the mountain in the car it was really hot inside the little car and the little girl said let's both take off our shirts and go shirtless so both of us were shirtless and wearing only our underwear and we were both barefooted when something happened and the brakes stopped working and the little car flipped over

What a clever young lady. I had the 1300 in the same colour as my 1st car in 1974. Remember that characteristic engine noise. BEFORE BL committed suicide with the Allegro and Marina ?
