My Daughters First Button Buck Harvest - Whitetail Deer Season 2022

My daughter decided she wanted to harvest a button buck this year. While I normally only go after mature whitetail deer, a button buck has been on her personal hitlist for a couple years.
I let her send it and she learned and I was reminded that patience is key when hunting. The button buck was jumped and I thought we were going to lose it on property that we did not have permission to be on.
Thankfully we were able to recover the deer after waiting just a little bit longer before we went back out to recover.
Whitetail season here in Ohio for 2022 has been a great year for both public land as well as private.
Always remember, there is nothing wrong with harvesting a button buck!
