Ok so same thing happened to me. The Q tip fuzz came off inside of the pilot hole and I had to use pliers to get the stick out but fuzz is still in there I guess? I took all of the steps and no dice. 😕

Just commenting to say that this worked for me. Brand new buddy heater. Brand new hose. Brand new tank. Wouldn’t even get a pilot going. Cleaned the aperture as directed and it with alcohol and got it working in 5 minutes. Thank you.

Hi I live in CA near the big Pacific Palisades fire. I just saw on TV a man who saved his multi-million dollar home with water sprinklers using a pump like this. Your video showed me how I can hook the pump up to some tall sprinklers I will build to protect my home. Thank YOU!! :)

That’s funny. At about 2:30 the tip of the Q-Tip came off inside the fuel line. O’Boy acted like everything was okay, but he fished that out off camera.

Did you lose the Q-tip head in the pilot tube? And it lit? I did the same thing but I figured I'm screwed. What's the deal?

The best thing you can do to avoid that issue is to buy a Mr. Heater filter! You can also buy a Mr. Heater hose that won't bleed oil. Mine is 6 years old and has never burned without a filter, and Mr. Heater hose and I have never had that problem.

Cela pourrait se vendre très facilement, si l’équipement est fabriqué correctement et s’il peut être réutilisé plusieurs fois. Cela faciliterait la fabrication du goudron dans les bois, si cet équipement existait.

Use a MR .Buddy heater hose & you won't have oil residue

Pilot lights. Proper line but still won't burn.

Question?? Do these have a battery somewhere for the ignitor?

We tapped birch here in Alaska but the metal bits have a hook to hang a stainless steal bucket which is better than plastic. Keep trying. It takes some trial and error. Tks for sharing your adventure.

Good news is that there appears to be no dead body in there and 40 years more ago they may have just ran it into the Forrest and the pond became a pond over time but doesn't seem right to find a car like that hidden. You can get a cap that is 2" woth a 3/4 reducer and put on the pump without out that stuff

So double your budget!! But it’s ok 1- Would recommend hinging the trap door to swing to the outside wall. So when you push in you can access the main floor. 2. Paint it black on the inside can’t see inside. 3. Insulated the floor on the underneath. 4. Carpet. Padding/Noise reduction. 5. Cut the bottom of plastic gallon with a hose flip it upside down hang to a corner. 6. Seal everything with spray foam. Wasps, mice and animals 7, give it a name like x girlfriend 1. 8. Add hangers. Coats etc. 9. Shelves. 10. Vertical window for bow and arrow. 11. Ladder / in out safety. Remember: winter snow. Wet/ mud. Heavy clothing, Wet boots. Need good traction going in/out. . Good job Have fun.

I tried everything, pilot light won't stay lit

The guy at Harbor freight told me the hose would explode if I reduced the discharge port. Thanks, now I know he was wrong. I'm wondering why the instructions say NOT to reduce the inlet or discharge ports. Do they know something we don't, is pre-mature damage going to accure.
