So, did you like DK master race but not Dark knight returns or death of superman? I don’t get it; you were too harsh with your critics of your own books

I love dark knight master race and dark knight returns, I just think that dark knight returns has had its time in the spotlight and now everyone can shut up about it. It got a 2-part animated adaption and was heavily used as inspiration for the dark knight rises movie, cool but enough. Death of superman is a very mediocre story in my opinion but it was not meant to be good. It was meant to sell and make money based on the shock value of superman dying.

Batman Hush was not underrated. If anything it was overrated for a long time. The story is not good but the pencils and coloring are masterful. Its a good jumping on point for new readers since its like a "greatest hits" of Batman lore. It showcases a lot of his villians, the will they won't they with him and catwoman, the dichotomy between Batman and Superman, and the history of the Robins. And Knightfall did not have a lasting impact? Dude, its in like everyones top 10 Batman stories and its ideas have been incorporated into things like The Dark knight rises. Do I have to go all Apu berating Skinner about jurassic park?

I fully agree with you concerning Hush. As for Knightfall I bought the 9 book series and while it definitely had a huge impact back then as well as influencing other mediums namely Nolan's film, the actual series is good at best and only in parts. Certainly not in everyone's top ten Batman story's! It wouldn't make my top 50. Childishly written and poorly pencilled for the most part. But when its written well esp the first 3 graphic novels I have being prelude, knightfall 1 n 2 and occasionally the art is great well its still better written to Hush.
