So glad that I belong to our small church, Calvary Chapel of the Lakes in Umatilla Florida as we take time to speak out our love and thankfulness to Jesus every Sunday during praise and worship. We may be small but we are mighty in love. A few years ago I ran from a church laden with many of what was brought out today and I do not miss it at all! My husband is having surgery tomorrow and I am not allowed to be with him. We have been married for 46 years. I have to sit in the car outside of the hospital and wait until the doctor calls me to tell me how the surgery went, then I have to wait until they call me to pick him up to take him home. I know Jesus will be with us.

Wow, this message is so important for today. So many churches today put entertainment, self-righteous exclusivity and selfish material desires above doing the work of the Lord and living holy before the Lord and giving Him honor in their lives. The Lord is disgusted and he says in the Word that he doesn't want to hear their singing, nor their worship and prayers. He doesn't like their assemblies. All of us need to honestly and deeply evaluate our lives and turn from wickedness and choose to repent, get humble and change our ways to follow Christ's teachings. We must get serious.
